UPDATE: Absolutely speechless. I got a notification yesterday that my case was being actively reviewed again. Went under the documents tab online and the approval notice was there! I’m completely shocked. Good luck to everyone keep your hopes up!

Thanks for pointing that out. However when I try to choose a visa category I don't see CR2 as an option. I see IR2 but no option for CR2.

Alhumdulilah, congrats on you guys getting this milestone. Ours is literally in 12 hours, inshallah it goes well 🙏!

AH guys finally after 4 years of painful waiting we just got our visa.🙏🏽 They gave me us our passport  stamp with Visa Allahamdolillah. All prayers for the rest of members . Good luck to @VisaNoob tomorrow and @Machinecorpse62 on 8. My prayers are with you both.

Everyone check your email for those who have been document qualified they are now up to January 26 2022and interview is in early November 2023

yes and the reports will go directly to the embassy two working days and we also get email for certificate and X-ray reports. Everything went smooth now waiting for interview 

Thanks for clearing that up I understand now! Glad to see that the NVC step has gotten somewhat faster now. I’m still waiting on the welcome letter and gathering all the documentation in the meantime.

Incorrect. Attached below is the processing times for NVC after you have submitted all your documents to them. Takes roughly 2 weeks after document submission for them to review your file and DQ you (if appropriate). NVC has drastically improved its efficiency in managing the caseload. When we were DQd it took us 3 months to get DQd and an additional 6 weeks for USCIS tp transfer our case to NVC. Things have become alot faster at NVC stage now for you guys. So thats a relief. However, as someone above mentioned, the real painstakingly long wait starts AFTER DQ. 
 

@Fr8dog Congratulations. My timeline has been pretty much in line with yours as i’m at the Norfolk Field Office too. May I ask if your location for your ceremony is in Richmond, if you don’t mind?

Nice! Mine went from April 2020 to March 2020 upon randomly checking a couple days ago. Not major but still better than nothing!
