DQ Oct. 2020 and no appt. This is so painful. It's been 15 years since I've seen my family. The way Haiti is going, I can't go visit them. I was really hoping they'd come before vaccination becomes mandatory for traveling. I hate it here..... ... .............😢😢😢😢😢😢 so sick of this (removed). everyone were running their mouth saying if you're a citizen it'll only be 6 months blah blah blah. (removed) its been 2 years and still suffering. Tired of watching my family suffer and Haiti getting worse by the minute.I wish I knew how to get them here illegally because I dont (removed) care anymore. Haiti is (removed) slow with everything. Tired of hearing Corona Corona.

I understand your frustration! I was DQd July 2020. All we can do is wait.

Hi. I ve been DQ since Dec 9th 2019. Started the whole process on Feb 2018. Hopefully with this new administration,  that consulate can get the hell out of Haiti and we get a better one. I did some research comparing the number of visas between Haiti, DR and Jamaica. Dr has received almost 3x the amount haiti has received in feb. Jamaica has also received more. If that is not discrimination against haiti, then i don't know what else.

I have to agree. However, Haiti itself is a whole mess! I love Haiti, but we need a change.

I'm wondering cause my lawyer didn't submit one to the NVC

Why not?... it is required for us to upload it and bring it to the interview. I can’t find this information anywhere on here, my husband did his at the office close to where he lives. I’m going to have him obtain one from port au prince office also

I hear it’s taking a whole year for interviews 😭😭😭

We have to wait and see. Things might go differently for the IOE cases

Yes thank you.. I check it diary... I just want to be with my husband 😂. What you've heard about the appointement in Haiti? Some people say it can take about 1 year to get an interview letter.

I really hope that it does not take a year for an interview.... I am a Haitian filer, petitioning for my husband. I am a USC, PD was Nov5, I got approved on 05/11/20, currently on the nvc stage. Our case was transferred to CSC from NSC. Once fees are processed we will work on submitting everything. Again, I am hoping they have a solution with this whole backlog thing. I am not looking forward on waiting a whole year for my hubby to come. Hope the best for us all.

I just finished chatting with a live agent and she said my case was transferred from Nebraska to Vermont on February 23. This is a little disappointing considering Vermont and California have the slowest processing rate, but I was reading on November filers thread that some who have had their cases transferred from Texas and Nebraska were  approved according the the original service center time lines; I hope that's the case for all transfers.

My latest date change was May 7.

Good luck to you all and hope we can see more October filers approvals soon!

I was transferred from Nebraska to California and was approved within 6 months. Vermont and California are actually approving cases pretty fast. Stay hopeful.

Yaaayyyy I’m sooooo happy for you!!! You probably have to wait until the link is up on your USCIS account! But rejoice because your time has finally come.

If you don’t have an account you’ll have to wait to receive it in the mail, but this is good news! This mean that they’re working on your case. As soon as you receive it, submit whatever they’re asking asap!!!!
