Should be OK to keep using 24 month letter. As long as it's valid, you're fine.

Many people are in your same situation. If you can justify why you are in that situation, then that should be ok, provided you also supply some important documents that show you're in a bona fide relationship. You could add doctor's emergency contact information and affidavits written by people that know about your relationship. Usually affidavits are sort of weak evidence, but in a situation like yours, where you don't have enough documents, they could help. Remember that the evidence you submit needs to cover the whole span of your marriage.

You will be ok.  Your explanation that you are both medical students is well understood by the Case Officers.

Explain the separate leases, and car/medical insurances.

    You'll be fine!

Me and my spouse are both medical residents who are in the same state but live 6 hours apart (residency is a lottery system so we had no choice over it)

Since we have different addresses, we couldn't get car insurance together - they all said said spouse has to get her own for her car where it's housed. Same for health insurance. Likely won't file taxes together either because the loan payment options works in such a way that she'll pay 200-300/month extra by filing together. And of course, no utility bills together and no joint lease agreements

I have to submit my i751 documents on November 2022

    So far what I have:
1 joint debit card account where both of our paychecks go
    1 joint credit card
(both of these are frequently used and will have ~2 years of history before I submit)
Our individual ROTH IRA retirement accounts listing each other as beneficiaries
    Life insurances with same
Both of our car titles with our names on them
    Joint phone bill
    BJs store cards
Pictures, receipts, flight tickets etc from our honeymoon

Any help/input would be greatly appreciated on other ideas to have joint things. The only thing i can think of is adding each other's name on our leases when we renew it next year. I know mine is an atypical situation and i'll address it in the cover later. Just trying to be well prepared for this

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks I'm very grateful. Hopefully I get my greencard before I have to do this again. Crossing fingers.

This is very stressful and anxiety inducing I can imagine, especially since we can't even call up USCIS and talk to someone whenever we want. Wishing you all the best as well!
