I think it depends from one country to another. Is the US Embassy closed in your country or you are just waiting for your turn?

The embassy I have to attend is in Jamaica. Currently they aren’t scheduling anything for my category at the moment. The president’s executive order put my category on hold until January.

    Hi,

I am having the same error when trying to upload missing documents on CEAC. First time tried on July 9th and still same issue till today. Are you guys still having this issue?

Sorry Mike. I haven’t uploaded anything since I last mentioned. Sorry folks like yourself are still having issues. Just keeps trying man.

I've tried all of that including different devices and even tried from out of state on someone else's computer.  I get either application error or security exception errors each time.

Not sure what else to suggest. 😞 Unfortunately for now, I would say keep trying. Don’t give up. I know it’s easy for me to say since mine worked but, since they can’t seem to give you any advice I would keep trying as long as you can.

Even if your application expires (Which I hope it doesn’t get that far) you will have a paper trail of communication with them detailing your issues. So hopefully they don’t charge you or have you submit all over again!

    Sorry I wasn’t much help.

I have had the same issue over a month now. I tried several time daily different times during the day and night. Called and the rep had the same issue. Was told to put in an inquiry and submit about 4 or 5 of those. All I get is this generic  message about my doc size. But that wasnt the complaint  regarding  my error. All my docs are compliant.  I am frustrated how they are handling this and I keep getting messages that your filing will expire in a year. Its as if they are doing it on purpose to collect more money from us and cause us to repeat the process. I get no where  with the people on the phone. If they are having issue they should post it like they did when there was issues making payments.  I was hoping my husband would be hear before our anniversary.

    P.S.

I get the error when I click on my name, documents, or the incomplete hyperlink. But it allows me to click on my spouse, joint sponsors and upload their doc. But for me the petitioner, error.

I’m sorry you are dealing with all this.😞 Have you tried using another browser? If so, then try clearing your cache for each browser and try again. See if that helps..

I’m also having issues uploading AOS documents through CEAC! It says server error with application security exception! How long do I have to wait to try again on submitting documents?

For me it was the next day and it worked fine. Just trying giving it a break for today and try again tomorrow. It was frustrating for me as well. So don’t worry, it will eventually work. Good luck!

Not sure where you live but we are in california and it as easy to add my wife to my insurance with out a social security number. They asked for it i said we dont have one yet and will provide it once we get one and they said ok they have to ask and will ask each year till we provide one 🙂

I'll be moving to FL. But if the insurance company insist that we def need one, I guess the next best thing to do is have a letter written from her company stating I will be able to be added to her health insurance plan once I've arrived.

  7. Hi Everyone! Has anyone has ran into the issue when trying to add your spouse to your health insurance when they don't currently have a SSN yet?

My wife is trying to add me her insurance before I arrive in the US (whenever that will be due to the virus) but she is running into an issue of the insurance requiring a SSN for myself which I don't have yet.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

It's ok....your not the first person that I've seen posted that their documents were reviewed quicker than others. Its not your fault that happened. Its NVC who's not reviewing documents in the order in which they were recieved. Consider yourself lucky and be thankful...The rest of us just have to wait.

Thanks for understanding. But I really hope everyone gets some good news soon! Also stay safe out there.

I honestly dont think so, some persons just get lucky being reviewed earlier than others. While others are reviewed at the timeline posted on NVC website.

Yeah I was surprised when I got the email to be honest.

WHICH IS WRONG AND UNFAIR...VERY UNFAIR..

Yes it is. To be honest I felt kinda bad when I heard people were still waiting that submitted it before me. I didn't mean for anyone to feel bad saying I got my documents approved earlier than expected. Wasn't my intentions at all.

Thank you for that info....I submitted on Feb 20th and feb 24th. Filing for minor child which is in Jamaica. My case was expedited with conditions. I'm eagerly waiting for my documents to be reviewed at NVC, so I can await the last step.

You're definitely welcome! I hope you hear back soon 😊

Very true. Its really hard to live without partner. I been waiting since 2 years despite being US Citizen. Each step of immigration is nightmare

Same here. It's been 2 years for us as well.

I will say it hasn't been easy. But I'm trying to be as patient as I can because, I know there are other who have to wait longer. I just appreciate we're nearly there.

Hoping the best for you @Boring Life

Wow that's great! So happy for you! Thanks for sharing. Now you gave us all hope that we might be the lucky ones to hear earlier than anticipated too 🙂

You're definitely welcome! That's why I did it. I wanted to make sure people were aware that the NVC seems to be moving ahead at little faster than stated. :) Good luck with yours!

  13. Just wanted to give anyone who has been waiting for their documents to be reviewed especially for the embassy in Jamaica.

Currently on the NVC site they states they are we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 10-JAN-2020. However, I submitted mine Feb 10 and just got my email stating I was Documentarily Qualified! So just so you are aware, they seem to be ahead a little even though the site says differently!

Thought you would want to know. Good luck everyone!
