Congrats! I also have my interview in the Dallas FO this week.

What documents did you end up bringing?

I have printed out additional evidence like utilities, mortgage statements, loan closing documents, etc. from the time we filed out N-400 to present, but it makes me nervous that the IO said he didn’t have any of yours!

Also, is your oath ceremony scheduled for far out or approx. how many weeks out is it? I’m also worried that the oath ceremony schedule is backlogged and we have an upcoming trip! Hopefully it’ll be soon enough.

Congrats again! I would really appreciate the tips from someone who just went through the process at the same office.

I'm also in the same field office and would love to know this.

I was given the booklet with the civics questions at my biometrics. I had a coworker tested me twice daily with 20 questions for a month. I also did the quizzes on the app.

I did not get my green card by marriage. My son applied for me. I took my foreign passport, driver’s license, green card and appointment notice. That is all they asked for at my appointment. I did have original birth certificates for my 3 kids but they did not ask for it. I did not take tax transcripts, just uploaded online.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you, this is very helpful! My biometrics got waived. Do you know if I can get the booklet elsewhere or maybe online? What is the name of the app with the quizzes?

  3. Hi all,

For those filing under 3-year marriage rule, what are all the documents you submitted under "additional evidence"? I am filing under the 3-year marriage rule and I'm confused how much evidence I need to provide apart from the required GC, marriage certificate, birth certificate, and 3 years' worth tax transcripts. The USCIS website is very generic and I don't know if I need to provide 3 years' worth of documents or just the most recent? Did you provide quarterly/annual documents?

    Thanks,

    Ashley

Hey Ashley, when is your interview scheduled to. Congratulations also :)

That was a very short notice. Congratulations again :)

Thank you, my interview was scheduled for next week but I just received an update that it was canceled!  I need to wait for the physical mail to find the exact reason. The fact that they did it so last minute makes me wonder if they rescheduled it because of the inauguration being around the same time and the risk of riots.

Rest of us might hear something by end of the year. Hang on tight.Cases aren’t processed strictly in the order they are received. But its great to hear movement in Dallas family-based cases.

Thank you for the reassurance, hopefully that's what it is. It made me worry for a while if my case was skipped somehow but you're right it doesn't seem to be in a strict order.

Just got an email saying that an Interview was scheduled. I think that was why I got that message/email earlier this week. Since that’s when they scheduled...

    Waiting to receive the mail.

    anyone else has that update?

what about you @Ashley Marin? Since you had applied before me.

No, still nothing for me :( I had filed in early November. Is yours family based or employment based?

Th  i'm here as well; October 2019 filer. The waiting continues.

The trends i've noticed in other forums seems they are scheduling July & August 2019 filers in Dallas field office. But they are stupendously SLOW.

Any updates on which month filers are being scheduled for interviews now? Have there been any updates on your case or is it still awaiting interview to be scheduled?
