I thank you all for your assistance and comrade long the way!
Congratulations 😁 I am going tomorrow and I am so exited. Can you share how are they handling/managing the ceremony? What is the procedure now?

I got the date for my oath and it is sooner than I expected. July 1st. So happy 😁. Hopefully nothing will stop us this time.

Thanks. I just hope a second wave of this virus will not come and stop us again 🤯 that would be so unfortunate. We are so close.

Congratulations. What date was your interview if I may ask?
Middle of February, but I had to send some more paperwork so it did delay my approval a little bit. They scheduled my oath on March 11th for April 2nd.

Not yet. It's been 75 days since my bio appointment but still nothing. I see that few other Chicago filers who applied later than I already got their interview scheduled. No idea how this works. I applied on 3year rule.
Update
This morning got the e-mail that an interview was scheduled. 76 days after the bio appointment. I applied October 1st. Not bad. At this point i am very happy because the estimated time at the beginning was 10 months. I cannot see the document right now with the date.

It took 3 months to get scheduled! I believe that’s what OP asked for. He didn’t ask for the time between the Biometrics appointment and the interview.
Yes thanks. I figured it out. I was just curious when will i get the next notice which hopefully is the "we scheduled your interview" notice. My estimated completion time is July so far.

It took 3 months for me. Biometrics appointment on July 30th (applied on 7/6) and scheduled for an interview on October 30th. Interview will be held on December 10th.
Thanks. Good luck, let us know how it goes

I applied October 1st, I had the biometrics done on October 25th. Does anyone know how long it takes to be scheduled for interview after the bio appointment?

I submitted mine on Monday night. At the moment the status has a message about running a background check. Is that normal? Or have I been singled out? Will my husband's criminal record have any impact on my application? He committed his crime long before we even met.
Yes it is normal. It does say that for everybody. Good luck

I applied online September the 30th late evening. On one site it says that I applied October 1st but they received on September 30th 🤪. On 'my uscis' says they received on October 1st. Anyway i guess that makes me an October filer. Got the receipt notice right away and estimated completion time 10 months for Chicago. My window opened at September 14, I751 approved on September 20. We are back right into waiting I guess. 🤯

Thank you. After security check they seat you (it was on the lowest level). We were only 10 people taking the oath. We were scheduled at 11:15. They only let us in the building 30 minutes prior the schedule. I am not sure why but they only started at 11:45. So we were sitting and waiting about an hour (and it was cold). But than the whole oath lasted 2 minutes 😂. No pictures were allowed. They handed our certificate and off we go. Everybody was super nice. Good luck you are so close.
