Received my Passport card on Saturday, and due to some delays ( with Arkansas USPS Distribution center) I received my passport book today.... waiting for NC. Thanks to all Of you here on this topic thread. My journey is OVER!!!! No more waiting and asking myself when I’m getting approved or getting this or that. The Waiting Game is OVER! Bye!

Has anyone tracked their PP shipment and seen this feed on USPS tracking status? “Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered the expected delivery date. It is currently in transit to the next facility.” It’s hasn’t changed since I’m day when it was shipped fro Arkansas. I have a funny reason the PP may not get to me tomorrow and as shown on the USPS tracker.

I submitted it at post office on August 1st .

It’s been 6 weeks since I applied. It was sent to the Charleston center.

Guys if anyone can pls help me on this ..... my PP was approved on Friday around 11pm. I called the call center on Monday and they said it’s being prepared to be shipped that same day and they gave me the tracking number. I was only able to track when it left Arkansas but now all I see on the tracker “ it’s in the USPS system “. How long does it take for USPS take to deliver Passport priority mails? I have read stories of people getting their mails missed up ..... I hope I won’t fall in that. thanks!

Yep. That center was setup purposely to Prioritize the PP application and renewal process of our military men and women , their spouses and children. So my guess is they’ll finish with every backlog that has military on it before they move down to civilians. That’s my thought.

Because nothing is moving there, and the customer service agents don’t have any idea what month they are processing now.

All I can say now is the Charleston center is a show! Anyone with PP application there should prepare for the wait of their life!

GOOD NEWS! So couple of minutes after pouring my frustrations out about how this process doesn’t seem to end for me today, I checked my case status it said my Notice of oath ceremony has been mailed. I didn’t get to to see the date at the moment so I called the 1-800.... number and the rep told me I have been scheduled for July 21st at 9am at the Chicago USCIS Office (Ida B Wells). I had to Waive the name change i initially requested in order to get this done faster. I didn’t want to wait any longer for a judicial oath swearing for a name change. I can always do that after my first passport expires and I want to do a renewal, by then all this craziness and unending wait will be over.

Hi..... did you get a text msg , email or it showed up on your account? I am a Chicago filer too I did my interview on March 5th. Waiting for my oath ceremony. This is now frustrating! But I can’t complain since Chicago is moving at least.
