It means your proof of a bonafide relationship/marriage your documents etc. You are adjusting from k1 correct?
It’s marriage based I 485. Yes. We have been married more than 3 years so it would b non conditional green card. That’s the difference. Thank you the reply. Wish you good luck.

My interview scheduled feb 10.
letter says bring all document establishing your eligibility for lawful permanent resident status. Does this mean marriage certificate? Its confusing.

Just got our interview notice in the mail for January 30th. No change for EAD yet.
How many days it took to get notice in mail after the update online?
-
For all those who are waiting for their interview or EAD- I am watching and tracking several cases on multiple site. Based on my observation, EAD and interview usually runs simultaneouly. Usually EAD notice is right after interview notice or vice versa. 4-5 months is average time for most EAD or interview notice. Hopefully it helps to people still waiting and hope that everyone get their EAD or interview soon.

Hello there we also received an RFE requesting for my petitioner’s latest tax return which I believe, we included it when we sent our docs but for some reason it went missing we just sent it to them yesterday.
Any update on your RFE?

Just an update - it was a Request for Initial Evidence. They want two things- Copy of my long birth certificate ( I have already sent this before, I even sent both long and short from the UK general registrars office )
- proof that petitioner is a US citizen
anyways our lawyer has sent and response and they should receive tomorrow. I think it’s all a delay tactic!
I received RFE for birth certificate. Similar to yours. I m hoping it reach there tomorrow as well. Keep posting if my updates.

My husband is a LPR and I am an F1 student. We filed concurrently as F2A visa category is current and I have already done my Biometrics on the 10th of October, but I received an RFIE from USCIS asking to provide evidence that my petitioner is US citizen. Any suggestions on what to do because he isn’t a citizen but a LPR
Honestly, I thought only US citizen can sponsor green card. LPR can’t. I could be wrong. Good luck.

Blaaarg - somehow despite the double-checking I thought we did, we got the filing fee a bit off and they sent it back. I've re-done form and triple checked cost this time, we should be fine long as we post it again asap before Oct 15th right?
In my opinion you should be okay.

I think some people’s take longer than a day. Probably depends on how fast your centre updates their record. I’m trying to just focus on mail updates now so I don’t stress my self out. You’ll get it soon
Thank you they update my case finger print review completed for I 765 but no update or I 485, which I think is lil off. I will wait few more weeks before panicking.

Thanks for this. We still haven't heard anything and tomorrow will be three weeks we are trying to stay patient and not stressed about it though!
This is what I have observed if it will take longer now, it will move faster in later stage. So average time is about same. From file date to approval. May be call USCIS and check...

Hi fellow September filers. My spouse who is doing AOS has a priority date of September 19, and we received our receipt notices in the mail today.
We will be going through the NYC field office. Am I right to expect that AP (I guess combined with EAD) is not going to be less than a 6 month wait?
Thanks!

With the expanded guidelines effective October 15th it's going to be easier for a adjudicating officer to deny a case based on public charge. Simply put if the adjudicating officer "thinks or feels" you will be a public charge in the future after weighing all the facts they can deny you.
We don’t know how this is going to affect anyone or how adjudicating office will respond to financial of application and beneficiary. May be it won’t be as bad as we are thinking it is. People who are sitting in USCIS more than 90 percent of them are either immigrants or ancestors of immigrants. They been there n they have seen it, so Let’s think positive.

Interview at philadelphia office.
We were 5 minutes late for interview(Tip- keep plenty of leeway for parking and driving and long security line).
check in at front desk, Finger print on first floor than wait at door 2 second floor. We were called in as soon as we sat down. Officer was really good. Chitchat mostly. Ask about our kid while walking down aisle to interview room.
question- Verify entire I 130 with husband( bios yes no questions)and I 485 bios with me and yes no questions
hows wedding ceremony?
wedding date?
where we met?
honeymoon where, how many days?
any proof of relationships? (He was more interested in pictures than document, he kept all documents and pictures.)
future plans? With work and life together? We told them about our upcoming promotions and buying house in a year or two.
approved on the spot.
case updated after one hour- new card being produced and next day approved?
waiting for card in mail.
good luck to everyone. Just be honest, if you get few dates wrong they understand.
