Hi all! So i applied on July 15th. On October 4th I had my interview for my N-400 as well as I-751. The IO took me in first asked me a couple of questions for i751, then my husband went in for not even 5 minutes they came out IO said he will be approving my i751. Then he took me in for the n400 portion of my interview asked me the civics questions, which i passed. Then he asked me to read a sentence from a tablet “Where is the white house located?” And I had to write “The white house is in Washington D.C.” he then told me he is recommending me for approval of naturalization! He said I might get tagged for the oath ceremony at the end of this month. I checked the website today it says they have scheduled my oath ceremony and mailed a letter to me but my completion date jumped from October 2019 to January 2020. We will see! I’ll keep you updated!!

Has anyone traveled outside the US while their N400 was pending?

Hi guys just wanted to give an update-
I got notice they scheduled an interview on Monday. Tuesday there was a new document stating my interview is scheduled for my N-400 on October 4th. Today (Thursday) I got a notice by mail from my local office envelope had my name written by hand stating My Hubby and I have an interview for my I-751 on October 4th as well, same time! So I will be doing both interviews on the same day! It’s been a long process but I am glad to finally be seeing the light at the end of this long tunnel! I will update later on. I wasn’t able to add myself to the spreadsheet.

It depends on your field office. Some office will do both at the same time if your file is available whole others will put your N400 pending until your i751 is resolved.
Where is your field office? Your timeline is pretty fast!. Best of luck!
Thanks! I filed i751 in Vermont service center. And my local office is NH.

Hi everyone! So I sent in my N-400 with a pending I751. Just got notice that my interview has been scheduled but no movement still on my I751 it’s been stuck on my finger prints review has been completed since August 2018. I filed in VSC. Has anyone experienced going to interview without them transferring the previous case?
