My husband and I just had our interview this past Thursday. It lasted about 25 minutes. The officer was very friendly and asked the usual questions: "How did we meet?", "Why did we want to get married?", "Describe our relationship with our in-laws". She took a few photos from our album and some additional bank statements, lease etc. She told us everything was in order and it should be approved. We received a notification the following morning that the card had been ordered to be produced and an approval notice the day after that. Yesterday it said the card had been mailed.

Quick update.. we were approved today at the NYC office! Took just over a year for the whole AOS process. Hope this gives the people waiting some hope that things are still running, just slower than usual!!
