In the documents tab the first one shows 8/26 and then it was de scheduled. The Last one that says Oath ceremony scheduled is for the exact same date and time. I am assuming that they cancelled it by mistake or was a glitch so they set it up again for the same date and time. But it sure is confusing that why would they cancel it in the first place

Finally got scheduled for interview today. Interview date is 09/27/2023

    Congratulations! :D

  2. Hi, I have a weird situation. My online USCIS account was showing that my oath was scheduled for 8/26. Later that day my status showed it was de scheduled on 8/26 due to un fore seen reason. But after a while it changed back to saying oath scheduled and this time again it was showing the same date 8/26. Now I am not sure if it is scheduled or cancelled? And if scheduled then why did they cancel it the first time?

The current status shows this update:

  3. I have a weird situation and hoping if some one could help me. My interview was scheduled for 8/26. The status was updated on 8/10. Today when I checked, the status was showing de-scheduled due to unseen circumstances. and immediately after that it was again changed to oath scheduled but the weird thing is the second one also has the same date of 8/26 and time. In the documents both letters have the same date and time.

  5. I had my N400 interview on the 7/28. My interview was virtual but the funny part is the face of the office was cover by placing a page on half od the ipad screen. A second ipad was used for the reading and writing test. I received a letter saying my application is being sent for approval but my USCIS online account still shows Interview was scheduled. How long does it it take before the status is changed? And my office was Washington DC, how long does it take to schedule an Oath?

  6. I filed my n400 online on march 7th, my biometrics was completed on the March 30th and since then I have not heard anything about the interview. The status says actively reviewing. I have checked timeline for multiple cases on visa journey and most of the applicants received the interview notices in May or first week of June. Do I need to be worried at this point?

If she is a doctor , apply for Medical training visa in USA also called B1/B2 visa . I applied for my Doctor sister and she got it

You have to apply admission for her in USA hospital for Training program

You can't help her. That is not how visitor visas for the US works. Only the applicant must apply and it must be on their merits. You nor anybody else can do anything to ensure she gets a visa.

Having somebody in the US to help a foreigner get a visitor visa is the biggest misconception with foreigners.

Your sister can apply again but she has a high risk of being denied again. Nothing you yourself can do about it.

I know me being in USA wont help her that iS why i am asking about documents and evidences she can use to prove and reasons she can give to prove her returning like return tickets etc. I wanted to know is there any specific reason which she can avoid or any possible way to show ties to her home country country except for employment letter!

You can not apply for your sister! She applies for herself!

There is no magic document! She just applies and finds out!

I know this and what i meant was she will be applying for herself but generally any suggestions to have a better chance of visa like employment letter or any such thing!

  10. I am a green card holder living in usa! My parents have a 5 year b2 visa! I tried applying for my sister but she was denied and was told that she does not have any ties to the home country! Shes unmarried and a doctor by profession and working back in home country! After the denial she visited me in germany since I was there few years back for my masters and returned before expiration of visa! Will this evidence help her if she applies again since now she has a travel history for schengen state plus has a job now! I would be really thankful if anyone could suggest Me how can i help her get the visit visa? Or any specific documents that could help her with interview or info on ds 160?
