Good news! My EAD card just magically appeared in the mail today. I did not receive any CRIS email nor update from USCIS website at all. I-765 still shows as pending . So I guess the approved date on my I-765 was the date card valid from August 16, 2008. Thank God! Thanks all you lovely people for your support & good luck to all!

I don't see any report of touching on I-485's today. Is USCIS website even working? I have not seen they update the processing time date yet; it still shows July 15, 08 No touch today for my I-485 or website is not functioning.

Guys Really good news I just checked my mail today and got....... "Welcome to the United States of America" I checked the status online and nothing was there. Its still pending. It was approved since the 18th which was the first touch date. So you other guys that were touched twice most likely were approved too. Thank GOD...I feel so good.....

One Dumb question...They had send me a Letter requesting me to show up for an Appointment to take my biometrics for my EAD. The notice also states that if I don't show up the case will be Cancelled. Should I go to this Biometrics appointment just to make sure it causes no issues come 2 years time? Because aren't these files processed in the same location? They should know what was and what wasn't approved...

Well just got of the phone with USCIS they said that my production card was ordered today.

Great news! Congratulations! Since your AoS already was approved and card was ordered, you won't need your EAD card anymore. Also your AoS NOA was 06/24/08 and you got approved on 08/18/08, pretty fast there; you beat me My NOA is June 12th, 08 and still waiting here. Hope your GC will come soon & good luck w/ everything!

congrats!!im pretty sure ur AOS will get approved soon...most of the trabsfers i see in the timelines approved after a month or two from the date of transfers...gudluck

It sounds as if some people are receiving their EAD and AP without any notice from USCIS. That is good news.... hopefully my wife's is on it's way. Really at this point what i am expecting te hear about more is her AOS being approved since it's been almost a month since we got transferred.

Yes, more good news will be coming to us pretty soon. Mine was tranferred just a day after yours, and it's coming to a month soon. So expect GC approval very near future. Good luck to all of us.

(I knew it was coming when I got that approved AP in the mail with no e-mail notice )

Now I have to star looking for a job and all and get my life back on track again.... Niiiiiice !

Thanks J_Girl! You should make an Infopass Appt to expedite your I-765 since it's been over 90 days already. As per instructions in I-765 if it's been over 90 days you can request an interim EAD by making an infopass appt. Good luck w/ your case

Yes, my I-485 was touched on a Sat. 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for my EAD here - it's already been 79 days and no approval.......great, what a miserable life

Our application got action today again.. but for an RFE I guess I will have to be patient and see it is that they want

Have any of you guys noticed a trend. We all are getting our AOS touched on two consecutive days. From my analysis of everything the other person I think it was KJW got touched and five days after they got their AOS approved. Good Luck to all mt last touch was on the 21 for my AOS so lets see if the trend keeps up.

My case is the same. I got transferred to Cal and i just got a touch today. But my wife's EAD has not been touched at all since they got it. But who cares if she gets her Res Card that is all that matters.
