    Can anyone check if you're able to view your visa status this morning? When I enter the CAPTCHA the system comes with "The code entered does not match the code displayed on the page." even thought is does match. 

     

    I tried using different browsers but the same issue persists. I'm hoping it will be back to normal by tomorrow...our visa should be issued soon!

    My father's initial status was Administrative Processing after his immigrant visa interview on June 27. 

    He had to submit a few documents like updated police certificate and family registry and i864-A so he was given 221g. 

    After submitting the documents on July 17, my mother's visa went from READY TO ISSUED on Aug 1 and my father's visa went from AP to READY FOR INTERVIEW. 

    The date has been updated a few times but case still ready for interview. 

    No feedback from embassy.

    Please help if you know anything about this scenario!

    Hi guys 

     

    at the interview i was given 221g and they gave me back my passport and my visa photos and they tell me wait until we contact you to do your medical exam... anyways, it’s been one month and before one day the embassy contacted me to do my medical exam and send it along with my passport... my question is that they never mentioned the visa photo in the email, so should i send the photo when i send my passport?

    That's typical for certain countries like Iraq. It's for extended background checks...the visa is technically refused under 221(g) while that is going on, but it will resolve itself when background checks complete.

    Not only that unfortunately i have 6 iran visas and four india visas LOL 

    i think wen the CO saw my passport with iran visa said WTH r u doing here but within her heart 😂

    After three days of the interview they emailed me wity several questions i had to answer and I answered them and sent the answers to them my status was updated many times one time it changed from administrative processing to application received and from immigrant  visa to Nonimmigrant visa

    Fiance wasnt given any paper or slip, CO said he has everything he needs when my fiance asked if he needed any proofs od anything else.

    Status says Refused, they returned my fiance's passport but took all the required docs: tax, aos etc

    No im from iraq but they returned my passport cuz they didn’t ask me to do my medical exam before my interview so they sent me some questions on my email to answer about my background and my travel history email and social media
