So my i-130 got approved last month and I've been waiting for NVC to contact me for the next steps but still nothing. Any idea how long I have to wait?

The rule for IR1 is proof of ongoing valid marriage which is very difficult to overcome if you don’t spend any time together
So google “proof of valid marriage for immigration” and hopefully it will help you understand the comments here.

I was wondering would it be ok if me and my fiance marry right after interview while i am there, before we travel back to the U.S. on a K-1 visa? Or will we have a problem at port of entry?
