After ten long months of waiting, we finally got approved today! I saw we had a date change in the morning, then around 2pm, I received a text and email saying our case status changed. MyUSCIS still says “In process,” but above it, it says “Case Closed” and the approval letter is under the documents tab. Our case status has also changed on the old site.

Congratulations to everyone who's petition has been approved.  It's been a long wait.  Hopefully the rest that are still waiting with their PD in August will hear sooner for their approval. Good luck everyone as we go to next level together. 

Any idea if the NVC is having any technical issues? I have been trying to submit & sign my IV application since yesterday till this morning to no avail.

I received an email from NVC on the same day of my approval as well.

My case still shows 'case being reviewed' but I noticed that the date changed yesterday and today. I checked my document and there it was! Approval April 14th! I did not receive a text or email notification.

Yes!! I had the first date changed on Dec 1st 2019 then the second on Feb 24th but this was for change of address though.  You might want to login and check the document section as well because mine still show in process but it's been approved and the case is close from USCIS.  Another option is to check "Case Status online " via USCIS.gov in the Tools section, it will tell you if you're approve or not.  Good luck.

Congratulations to those who their case has been approved. My PD is 08/12/2019 in Potomac center, still praying and believing that this March month won't finish without me hearing good news from USCIS. The approval messages here gives one hope even though I just checked the Potomac center processing time to be 9months to 12 months with case inquiring date as April 03,2019.

Just curious, has anyone who filed in August 2019 for a spouse visa received NOA2 yet? I know the process of approval can be real long and frustrating but it will be nice to hear if someone has gotten their NOA2 approval letter and which processing Center did their file go to..  Mine is at Potomac Center and I file in August 2019.

Is the waiting period for U.S Citizens to bring their spouse from abroad to USA shorter than for a Permanent resident? and how long of wait do U.S. Citizens have to wait for their i-130 filing to go through than Permanent residents?

i am new on this site. please i do have a question. if one is living in a different state, can he/she file their I-130 form using a different state address? for instance living in New York but uses a family address in Ohia to file.
