    Thank you for your reply!

Yes My case is converted to IR1 now. I am not able to find any info on similar case like mine.

  2. Hello,

My DQ date is OCT 23 2020 and I got naturalized in JULY and I changed my status from F2A to IR1 in the month of August.

Does anyone have similar case or do you know DQ Month Embassy in Mumbai is Scheduling interviews for?

    Thank you!!

  3. My N400 Interview experience.

I had my interview today and officer was very kind and polite, cracked some jokes here and there :) .
he started straight up with Civics test asked 6 questions and had one sentence to read and write in English. verified all my info and he didn't tell I passed but just told be you are 90% naturalized and will be fully naturalized after we take a Oath in a minute. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to do a happy dance and went in and came out as US Citizen in 15 mins.

    Good Luck to you ALL!!

I've applied in June 2020 and still didn't hear anything back since initial notice. Estimated case completion time under my account is 2 months. Any New Yorkers here who already had biometrics appointment or got it scheduled?

Same here. Filed in June as well. No updates yet. I have even submitted service request haven't heard from them as well. Now my estimated times says April 2021(3 months)

Is there a way to speed up this I -130 spouse application if the petitioner becomes a US citizen? Can I go to the local congressman and ask his office to inquire and see if they will speed it up? Does becoming a citizen help at all?

Hi, Yes. If you become a citizen then you fall into immediate relative category and there is no waiting time for you. If your case is at USCIS office then you need to contact them and let them know that you are a citizen and send them the proof. And if at NVC its same as well. Citizenship really helps alot. It is a big plus point

Anyone for the Baltimore field office? I filed June 23rd and have not heard anything since. Last biometrics were done in 2015 for EB greencard so I have low hopes of them being reused. The local field office was opened on 7/27. I've been told to ask 90 days after the reopening, so I that 10/25..in about 10 days now.

Same here, my field office is Albany NY. Filed June 29th, Last biometrics in 2015. I am waiting to send inquiry on 10/25. We are on same boat.

Yes, That is correct. we will have to send Inquiry https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do and select case outside normal processing time.

Will do keep you posted ! I can't remember the exact steps. But first I ask for Live Chat, and it usually pops up a topic - which I choose as being biometrics. Then it asks me to enter my case number and eventually I connect after a waiting time...just be mindful that like everything else, the queue number doesnt seem to go sequentially. I missed out chat once since I was 15th, and it went to me first right after while I didn't see it.

Thank you so much, I appreciate this!!. I will follow these steps and see if it works.

Yep - I submitted on 23rd June and haven't seen anything since. I spoke to a live rep on USCIS and they said nothing will be updated until I'm scheduled for biometrics. Apparently, I should be scheduled within 90 days of the ASC reopening at the latest - which is 10/27/2020 for my local ASC. Can't do anything but hold tight. They did say if I don't get anything by then, I should call and ask for a service request...

How did you get hold of Live Rep, I tried so many times and I couldn't get thru Emma. Let me know if you get any updates because I submitted my application on 29th June.

NVC is currently processing documents of F2A because mine was DQ on Aug 28th. It will be scheduled for interview at embassy consulate still but may either receive a waiver or deny based on proclamation.

All processing of F2A is ongoing

Well, If that's the case, Then it is a very good news!!!!. Please keep us posted on this. 😃
