I'm not sure if this trick works but it did a couple years ago when I was going through AOS. Call the line and select "Change Your Address". I think they'll give you some options for that sub-menu and then ask if you still want to speak to someone. Select YES. When I did it, it connected me to an agent and they didn't even ask about my address. They just asked, "How may I help you?". Get a little theatrical if you have to. Tell them that you know that missing the interview will equal a denial and that you simply cannot afford that at all right now, so you NEED to find out the interview day/time or have it rescheduled somehow. Usually, the notice gets sent 4-6 weeks before the interview, so tell them you know you're getting closer to the scheduled interview day.

Unfortunately this no longer works. USPS also lost our Biometrics appointment letter and the only way we found out the date/time was connecting to a Tier 2 officer using some of the hacks you have mentioned (and it was the next day!). Confirmed today in a chat that they "no longer/can't transfer to a Tier 2 and everyone has to wait for a call back." As you noted and can imagine, we are super stressed because the interview could be tomorrow! They have said our only option is to wait and if the interview has already passed by the time they call us we would need to reschedule which would of course be another huge wait. =(

  2. Hello everyone. Any tips to connect with a Tier 2 officer these days? We were able to a few months ago, but it seems something has changed. We’ve been waiting for a callback since Jan. 22 😥

USPS lost our interview notice and we need to find out the interview date/time. We’ve filled out the USCIS form, USPS has been unresponsive, tried USCIS Emma chat, and called many times only to be told that we have to wait for a Tier 2 to call us and there is no way for a Tier 1 to connect us to a Tier 2.

  3. Hi- we're completing our AOS paperwork and are having trouble with the i94. When we go to retrieve the i94 from the website- it shows an i94 from 2 years ago. In the travel information section it does list his arrival to the US a month ago. We have tried reaching out to CBP various ways with no luck. Is a copy of the i95 arrival stamp enough for our application? And perhaps including a print out of the travel information from the i94 website?

Hey guys - a couple more questions specific to the i-134:

    1. For the i-134 there is a part asks "Do you intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person in Part 2?" (the person in part 2 being the beneficiary). "If yes, indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions you intend to make in Part. 7 Additional Information." Whether or not I plan on giving my fiancee "an allowance" or whatever or financial situation may be, I understand as far as the US Government is concerned, she is my responsibility. Is there a "best practice" in answering this question? For those of you who have had success so far, what did you put (obviously don't need your personal details)?

    2. For supporting documents of the i-134, I plan on submitting: 2018 IRS Tax Transcript, 2018 W-2, 2 pay stubs from 2019, checking/savings account statements. I am seeing in the i-134 instructions something about a signed letter from a bank officer of total deposits and and current balance, do I actually need to get this? Not sure how I'd get a letter from my financial instituions especially if some are online.

FYI the bank letter was a bit of a nightmare for me. I am with Bank of America and they could not get the part about total deposits correct. They kept printing the same incorrect letter at least 7 times after many visits/phone calls/snail mail. It's what we wound up using, and I also just created my own statement with all my deposits, saved to pdf and printed. Be sure to have someone from the bank sign the letter as that doesn't seem to be customary.

I would HIGHLY recommend using the Dr at Paitilla Medical Center for the medical appointment. The Dr was very professional, patient, spoke English and Spanish, and was very helpful.

The X-ray was completed the same day, along with the blood serology.

Rather than having to return for a second visit, you are given a user name and password for a website and all of the results are loaded there.

The Dr. anticipated that our file would reach the embassy by Wednesday this week.

Thanks for the update- we just received word that our appointment will be on August 20th. We're going to try and book the appointment in Paitilla ASAP! =)

We sent our docs on Wednesday to the Embassy and received our appointment date on Monday.

    Hi @kellyk

    The email address is Panama-IVisas@state.gov

Hopefully they will respond to you quickly.   I have been writing them since last week and haven't been able to get a response.

I actually called the embassy and they said that the only way to contact the group that does the scheduling is via email.

Oh no- I hope that they were just on vacation or something and will be back in full force this week!

No contact from the embassy since 7/15/19.  Still waiting for an appointment date.

Hi T! I'm curious if you've heard back. It seems that we're about 2 weeks behind you. NVC received our info last week and sent it out to Panama today! Also- how did you track the package? Not sure if I missed it in previous posts, but what is the email address to send the information to the Panama embassy to be proactive in regards to P3?

I hope you've gotten news and are already scheduling medical dates and the interview! =)
