I can’t tell if the name change causes delays, but in normal circumstances you should have received the NOA.

If you don’t receive the NOA after 30 days of filing, fill the form below:

    https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?sroPageType=ndn&entryPoint=init

Did this yesterday, exactly 30 days after filing.

I'll try and call tomorrow to figure things out, I was also wondering if I should call the local office and schedule the biometrics with them immediately.

  2. Hey all,

Still haven't received a notice letter...

08/08/2022 – FEDEX notified us of delivery at lockbox

08/11/2022 – received text notification with Case number YSCxxxx - Potomac...

08/12/2022 – Payment check for I-751 cashed according to our bank

what should we do .. my wife is a flight attendant and needs that extension letter to keep travelling in and out of the US for her job...

We also asked that they change her name at same time as removal of conditions. maybe that's the delay?

  3. Hi all,

I got an expedite for the interview and my case was sent to the embassy and is now appearing as 'Ready'.

trying to figure when and where do we get the interview letter. Does it come by snail mail ?

I'm guessing email,... would they send it to both the petitioner and applicant ? or just the applicant ?

Also, what timeframe would you guys say it will take ?

    Have a great one

  4. If he's not French or French resident he won't be able to enter France.

US citizens were not allowed in France last time I checked.

Currently a French a person can't go to the US because of US restrictions and a US citizen can't go to France because of French restrictions.

    Entry and Exit Requirements:

    Sorry...

I traveled to and from Florida to France in march, and June had no problem whatsoever. - As a dual French US citizen.

Just take a cab or your own transportation to the airport.
The boarder patrol will only ask for your passport as they always did.
And airlines need business bad so they are not about to deny boarding because of an attestation which they are not legal enforcers of.

From a consulate perspective,  there is no difference between the two

Well, that is true, except for the presidential ban on green cards for multiple visas.

I don't know if there would be a hold up at embassy level for interviews for H1B's for example.

That's why I'm trying to figure out if his interview was for an immigration visa or not.
