Is this the timeline I'm looking at, about 2.5 months? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

    Yes, that's the timeline.

Is there some kind of variance based on visa-type and consulate your case is assigned to?

I'm not sure if there is a variance.

do you know if you submit something new before they check the old, do you reset your position in line? Or does your first submission hold it's place?

I believe it resets your line if you upload something new. First submission doesn't hold its place.

  2. Sorry to say, but you'll go back in line after you upload. It'll be another few months...

I am in a similar situation, just submit document request is for a different document. But mine also says "accepted / completed."

How long did you end up waiting after uploading new documents? If you're still here.

Same here. PD July 4th, 2019 CSC. Transferred to Nebraska 02/23/2020. Submitted out-of-processing times inquiry- got a familiar response - case under review.

We finally received an RFE after nagging them for couple of days, so I would say keep following up. From what it seems transfers are looked into ASAP so there is some silver lining!

When was the last update date on your account ? They won't even tell me when it was transferred - last update on my account is Feb 23 and I just found out couple of weeks ago.

We transferred some of the following cases from the California Service Center to the Potomac Service Center, the Texas Service Center, the Nebraska Service Center and the Vermont Service Center:

    • Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES (F2A) for spouses and children of permanent residents

    Hi all,

Finally joining the discussion. I filed for my husband in July, PD: 7/11/19, got an IOE number and California as service center in the NOA1. Still no word on the case and it's really tough to be patient with no updates. I didn't read through the entire thread but from what I read I didn't see any California petitions. Anyone else here got Cali?

It's because there's no updates in Cali - we are here watching other centers getting updates !
