  1. Hi again VJ Community! I just want to clarify something. The discussion was mainly about having the 2 year gc and extension letter nullified if the case says new card is being issued (the 10 yr gc). Is this true? I will be travelling out of the country while my gc is not expired yet but I'll be using my then expired gc and extension letter to come in. If at any case, while I'm not in the US and my new card comes, can I still use my 2 yr gc and letter to come in? Or would they be expecting me to have the 10 yr gc? Has anyone tried this? Thank you for any replies!
  2. Now, I'm worrying about how fast this is all going. I know it's weird but hear me out. So I just read that if the 10 yr GC is being produced, even if you have not yet received it, the 2 yr gc and extension letter becomes void. With the rate that my case is going (I'm happy it's fast tbh but..) I might be in another country (I'm out of the US, July 28 til Sept 12) when they send my 10 yrs gc. And I can't use my 2 yr gc and letter to come back into the US! I'm so worried now.. The only thing I was thinking is having someone mail my 10 yr gc to me from here in the US if it ever happens. But do yiu guys think it's such a risk?
  3. If you have had them before then probably just a notification?
  4. Hi! So it did fall on a day you were away. I also got my bio appointment let34bt5er today. Scheduled for 6/28! Good luck on the walk in! 😊
  5. I just saw in my Informed Delivery that I will be receiving a mail from USCIS. I'm not sure if it's the bio appoontment or an RFE (I really hope not!) But I'll update you guys later! 😊
  6. Hi VJ community! I just sent my ROC last May and got an MSC case number. So most likely, the service center time wouldn't be that long but the field office wait would be longer (by reading all the threads). I was wondering where I can find the processing times for the field offices? And do they base it on your zip code? I'm in the middle of Sacramento and San Francisco, so I'm not sure where they'll send me.. Any input would help! Thanks!
  7. What I saw from other threads is you can do walk-ins as long as you have an appointment for a future date. Am I making sense? Lol! I've seen people post e.g. Bio appointment: 2/28, Bio taken: 2/20. Something like that
  8. Oh I see the headline Lifting Conditions. I was looking at the timelines and it had "N400 filing, N400 bio etc." Yeah, don't think much about it. It'll work out fine! 😄 Congrats! The biometrics mostly depends on the previous type of visa that you have. And I think that if you have had it taken like during your AOS, then they just reuse it.
  9. Yeah! It's what I noticed in the thread here with MSCs. They get the bio letter within the two months and the appoinement is around 2 months after filing. By the way, the link you sent shows N400? Well, is it on late June? Maybe you can go before your appointment then. Thanks for this! I'll read this through!
  10. I'm actually stressing over the biometrics appointment that's why I searched and many have went before their appointments so I'm going to do that cause I'm also travelling on the end of July, just exactly 2 months after sending my file! 😆 I'm sure I will get the bionetrics since I went in through CR1, I haven't had any biometrics taken unlike K1s or other visas.
  11. I mailed it as it is shown on the USCIS site which is this: USCIS Attn: I-751 (Box 21200) 1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S Suite 100 Phoenix, AZ 85034-4850 So USCIS is above the attn. 😊
  12. Lol! Sorry I had to ask. I'm looking at the trends in different visa categories! Hi there! Welcome! Well, isn't it always exciting with USCIS? Lol! Where is your service center?
  13. Just C? Lol! Like in your green card it's just C?
  14. I haven't done any interview here in the US. The only interview I've done is the embassy interview. They said you'll at least have one (like for those who have done in AOS, they wont do it again). So I'm also preparing myself for the possibility of an interview.
  15. Oh yeah! I keep forgetting you aren't CR1! 😆 Oh I see that you're K1. They usually waive the prints for K1s! 😊
  16. Hmmm.. when did they get our prints? The one from the airport? I can't remember anymore! Lol! What I've seen though is most CR1s have biometrics taken but K1 and others have them reused.
  17. Yey! Hope the biometrics appointment comes before I travel outside of the US! Anyone has any idea if I can walk in before my biometrics appointment? I've seen some posts in the MSC thread that they go in days before their appt date.
  18. Welcome! We almost have the same timeline! Sent it on the 23rd, got a text on the 27th, got check encashed today 31st and got NOA letter today 31st.
  19. Yeah I agree with this like from the date of the approval. 😊 And I also got my NOA from the mail today!
  20. Also saw on my informed delivery that a mail is coming from USCIS!
  21. Check just cashed today! It says "USCIS Phoenix Payment"
  22. Oh really? I was just thinking I would want to hold on to something like a card rather than just a paper. Lol! Since if I would not wait for the 10 year green card, then it would be longer. But yeah, we'll see! 😊
