Hi everyone,
Wanted to share my update with you all.
Today my case got approved and they're producing the new 10 yrs Green Card.
Hopefully you all will hear something soon.
Case # LIN1990476xxx
File date 5/15/2019
NOA1 5/23/2019
Bio app 10/21/2019
Approved/production 4/2/2020
Good luck everyone.
Now it's time for me to start the n400 waiting game ☹️
Congrats!!!
I can't figure out how they assign numbers to cases - you filed on May 15th and got 1990476xxx, while I filed on May 20th and got 1990475xxx. Mystery 🤔😅

I saw at least 3 April 2019 cases approved today in case tracker. Fingers crossed they're getting there.

how is this relevant to the ROC process?

Didn't get transferred. I was from K1. And I didn't get interviewed for my AOS. I know, I was pretty optimistic that I got approved without interview. But oh well.. just have to come and do it I guess.
Oh I see. Then it makes sense. Good luck!

Hi all,
I just got notification that my i-751 is ready to be scheduled for interview. Our file is in Nebraska Service Center. For anyone with ROC interview, how long from notification to actually get scheduled interview in mail and/or the actual interview? My husband (the USC) will go out of state for work the next two weeks and I'm a little bit concerned. Thank you in advance!
Was your case transferred from Nebraska to national benefits center before the interview? What was your original status - CR1, CR6, or K1? Were you interviewed by USCIS before?
Looks like LIN cases are normally approved without an interview, so that's odd you got one.

Honestly, never heard of a case like this but since they have approved your i-485, I guess my steps would be the following:
1. File i-751 with divorce waiver. Attach your divorce decree + all evidence of bona fide marriage.
2. Explain the situation at the interview.
P.s. I would still get a lawyer, just in case.

Hi, I'm also with Nebraska and received biometric appointment notice for 10/21/19. I filed on 5/20/19. So it took 5 months to hear something.

Got my husband’s biometric appointment today. Filed 5/20/2019. LIN Service Center
Would you mind sharing your appointment date? I see that a letter from USCIS is coming in the mail today, but I'm out of country for another week. A bit nervous that the appointment might be for the next week.

Nope Never! But it's really a good idea to have the Guide with you anyway.
Couple times my return flights were with Austrian airlines (they are part of Lufthansa Group) - also no problem at all.
Great, thanks so much! Did you print the whole thing or just the relevant pages?

Hi
You shouldn't have any problem - Lufthansa is well aware what the 'combo' of an Extension Letter & an expired green card stands for. The same in Kyiv, at Boryspol airport.I flew several times, with a "combo' and later, when my Extension Letter got expired, - just with I-551 stamp in my passport.... Same story - no issues at all.
You can also got this Guide printed - in case if you face an airport agent, who is not familiar with an Extension Letter.
p.p. 5 & 30
But as i've said - have flown and many times, and never had any problems. you should be fine
Have a safe trip and a wonderful time in Ukraine!!!
Thank you very much for replying!! I've heard that Lufthansa is finicky about transiting through Germany with an expired green card but wasn't sure if Ukrainian passport would make a difference. Btw, did you ever need to show the guide to any airport agent?

This is our experience flying back to the USA with an expire green card and an extension letter. Flew from Kiev, Ukraine to Paris, and then to Atlanta. At the airport in Kiev, airline personnel nor Passport Control asked to see an extension letter. In Paris, my wife showed her Ukrainian passport with her expired green card. We intentionally did not show the extension letter to see what would happen. They looked at the expired green card and asked if we had an extension letter, which was promptly provided for review. In Atlanta, the passport/expired green card/extension letter was provided to the CBP officer. Took them a few minutes to process it and we were on our way. No secondary inspection. So our experience was zero problems traveling on expired green card with an extension letter; and in our case, airline security are well aware of extension letters. Hope this helps alleviate some worrying for those who will travel with an extension letter.
Thank you for sharing! Does anyone have an experience traveling from Kyiv to US via Lufthansa with an expired conditional green card and an extension letter?

Hi, guys.
Does anybody here have an experience of leaving Ukraine with a green card expired and an Extension Letter?... I'm not worried about entering the US . My main concern to get out of my home country - I'm not sure if they are familiar there with an Extension Letter.
Also, on my way back I'll have two stops - in Frankfurt, Germany and Toronto, Canada. In Canada I'll have about 4 hours layover, so even if i'm pulled to a secondary - no worries, should be enough time anyway. But in Germany - only 1 hour..
Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. And, yes, it will be Lufthansa /Air Canada.. if it matters...
Thank you.
Hello Ksenia,
I have just booked tickets to Ukraine through Frankfurt with Lufthansa, but after reading so many horror stories about not being allowed on the plane, I am really scared now. Would you mind sharing your experience traveling with an expired green card and an extension letter? Specifically, are agents in Kyiv aware of this? Are there any issues in Germany? I have a Ukrainian biometric passport, so no visa required for Germany. I would really appreciate any advise! Thank you very much
