Not sure what's 'urgent' about this.

The truth should be written regarding who is paying for the trip, not what answer you think will make the case stronger.

Not sure why you think any documents can show strong ties - there's a reason why no documents are required. Most of the information needed to make the decision is on the DS160. Anything else will be ansked at the interview.

Without a job her ties to home are automatically weak. Add family in the US to the mix and it does not look good, but as always, nothing to lose by applying apart from $$$.

The truth is both parties are capable and willing to pay that is why asking who should pay inorder to make the case strong.

Even if she gets her visa after my delivery she can still meet her grandchildren. Some people have successfully been able to book slots within months time. I think the key is to check at odd times.

I'm not sure your grandfather counts as a tie if she is supposed to be his sole caregiver but can leave him to visit you. How long would she want to come for? And when is her interview?

One of my other aunt will come for three weeks from Saudia to look after her father meanwhile. She will visit me for three weeks only.

  4. This platform has always been my go to place. Thankyou in advance to all the members who will help me with their insights. I am a greencard holder and my husband is a US citizen. I am currently pregnant and due in October. I want my mother to visit on visitor visa so that she can meet her grandchildren as it is a tradition in our country when a girl is pregnant her mother comes. She is a divorcee, currently has $10,000 in her account, two rental properties under her name and is a sole caretaker of her father in Pakistan who suffers from Parkinson’s disease as all her siblings are all around the globe and my grandmother passed away. Inorder to make her case strong should I write she will finance her 3 weeks trip herself or should my husband finance it as I am currently not employed.what other documents should I include to show strong ties ? A letter from hospital showing my grandfather suffering from Parkinson’s and is bed ridden? I am so confused. Please help

Everyone who got visa should enter and activate their visas.  One of the adults can come back.

There are many stories when people don't travel and lose their visas and it becomes a multi year struggle to renew it.

Send them an email, call them or contact a lawyer in US.

But if your visas expires there won't be anything you could do.  Border, rules, bans are all part of this process.

Be smart and rational.  It's a very Pakistani thing to say, " I won't go until everyone is able to go".   No one would care.  The best thing you can do for your minor child is to get the visa activated

Did you get any visa packet along with your passport or not?

    Hello Ranii!

    Congratulations!

Can you let me know what was asked and what happened in your re-oath appointment? I have mine tomorrow and I am not sure what documents to bring with me. The email asked for photos and medical so should I be concerned for anything else they could ask?

    Please let me know asap!

    Thank you :)

Don’t worry... they ask general questions. I was done in 2 minutes. They just want to update fingerprints nothing else. Do take your civil documents with you which u uploaded on NVC website . Best of luck

Also please let me know where you guys make inquiries?

I use support-pakistan@ustraveldocs.com but their responses are honestly so frustrating and irrelevant.

I also make inquiry on this email address... but I don’t get responses... your case updates after inquiry or no?
