Hi, everyone! I just need someone to tell me that everything is alright with my husband and i's application.

We just got a mail from the USCIS of a Request for Initial Evidence. What we're mad and frustrated about is that they're asking for A COPY OF MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE in which I do have a duplicate of what we sent to them and we did send them a copy of my birth certificate. We followed everything they asked from us. Are they doing this to make our application long or THEY'RE NOT JUST DOING THEIR JOB? I hope they're taught how to read (in which they should because they're supposed to be smart people working for the immigration). Also, I do not need to translate my birth certificate because it's already written in English. Ughhhh. I am just so frustrated right now because we did send them more evidences as we could. We would still send them ANOTHER copy of my birth certificate along my college transcripts tomorrow.

In line with this, does this affect the timeline of the process of my application? I am really bored staying at home and I do want to have my employment authorization already so that I can start working.

Not worried about it because they want delay your case that happens with everybody and this problems have a name , this name is Stephen Miller he is a person order to delay all case

Okay. I called USCIS and the automatic voice said - can’t talk to a representative right now... so I’m going to call later. This is crazy-  it is taking so long.

Yes is really hard and frustrating unfortunately is a long wait and they don’t care how hard is for us , right now I try to stay relax , I response the RFE about marriage certificate in January 11 2019

i have seen in most of such responses

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* as soon as it has been completed.

they give a time frame 30 or 45 days but they did not give us any time frame like this :(

Is very frustrating that honestly because they don’t said anything if they said something is ok we still relaxing

My stepdaughter's I130 was approved May 9. The notice said to wait 30 days until calling. I called June 21 and the lady at NVC said they still hadn't received the I130 !!! Apparently now it's taking up to 10 weeks to receive and enter the cases.... and this is after a 9 month wait for the I130 to be approved. At this point I'm hoping we can get my stepdaughter hear by Christmas! 😱😱

Not worried about because is approved nothing is more important

Yes, even almost identical filing dates.

You can inquire if your receipt date is past the one mentioned under processing times on the USCIS website. But they usually reply, that one should wait another 60 days to make an inquiry.

I know it sucks, my hubby moved back in December to the US to find a job (he was doing a master's degree here in Switzerland) and being separated for so long is literally torture.

They are now working on July cases, so expect to wait at least another month before you get an approval or RFE

I have a similar case and summit the inquiry by  jun 1 because the priority date is 7/3/2018, I received the answer today and they said they work continue waiting

I think we submitted the enquiry in January 2019 while the reply to the RFE was received by USCIS in October.  So it’s about 3 months/ 90 days when we submitted the enquiry. You can currently wait or submit an enquiry. The reason we didn’t wait longer was because our rfe was a silly one and all it needed was empty pages that were left out originally.

In My RFE they want the marriage certificate , the RFE was received in December 28 2018 and we respond on  January 7 2019 , January 11 uscis received the evidence after that is waiting and waiting is a little be frustrating

Hi! So I never thought I would be that unlucky.

Short sunmary, got a silly RFE, submitted reply, USCIS updated website saying they received the RFE submitted and was processing. We waited patiently. No news after 90 days, we sent in enquiry and got a denial notice a few days later.

Stayed calm waiting to receive the mail to find out the reason..

    and a little 😡😰😱😂

now, trying to stay calm and figure out If lawyering up makes a difference when I motion to re-open? As it was their fault?

Edit : reason for denial is because we didn’t reply to the RFE which they received as seen in case file update

i want to upload the picture of the denial letter but somehow it’s too large..

at this point any advice is really appreciated.

    Quick relationship summary

After how many days you submit the inquiry, because i wait 5 months after they received de evidence and nothing happens I want know what we suppose to do
