Just had my biometrics appointment today. I was originally scheduled at 1530H, but we went there immediately after my OB appointment and arrived there at 1240H. We didn't stay there that long and there were only three applicants when we got there including yours truly. We probably just stayed there for like five minutes and at 1300H, I got an SMS and an email saying that my case was just updated and that they were actively reviewing my case. Had to log in to my uscis.gov account and the estimated completion date is now a month earlier (used to be July 2020). I was handed out a reviewer but there is also the one that you can study online which can be found on their website. I am very delighted that I'm done with biometrics before giving birth.

I have heard 3 different accounts with same new officer. This is ridiculous to subject people to wait because she is on training. As if we haven't waited long enough already.  I have interview tomorrow and I wish I don't get officer, as I have travel scheduled next month.

@Mila you're next up, you should receive interview notification in a week or so, please update when you get notice.

My Oath ceremony is slated for November 5, 1pm at Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manasas

I am just from my interview got approved instantly and was put inline for oath ceremony. I was given the regular "wait for 6 weeks to receive your notice" but i am sure by this weekend it'l my notice reflect in my account.

Feb 5th Submitted App
Feb 9th Biometric scheduled for 26th (walked in 22nd)
June 20th Interview scheduled for July 25th – couldn’t attend so submitted reschedule
July 23rd Interview scheduled for August 8th
August 8th Approved and placed in line for oath

hooray! received notification this morning that our interview was scheduled - do not know what the date is yet. What great news!

I applied for N400 on February 21, 2019 and had my biometrics on March 12, 2019. On August 15, 2019 I got an online notice from USCIS that my N400 interview had been scheduled. At this point, my estimated wait time was ~20 days. My interview is on September 23, 2019.

We had to cut our summer vacation short in the Dominican Republic because our oath ceremony was unexpectedly scheduled for early July -  just three weeks after our interview.  
We didn't think that our oath ceremony would held until August or September at the earliest.  
Fortunately, we paid $106 extra for the Allianz Global Assistance flight insurance offered when purchasing four American Airline tickets.
 
So, we had to purchase new flight tickets to return home two weeks earlier than planned for the oath ceremony.
We submitted a claim to Allianz to recoup the cost of our original return flight family tickets.  When submitting this claim, we included a copy of the N-445 Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony from DHS.  
Allianz recognized the N-445 as a "Legal Proceeding" and refunded our total airline $1400 ticket purchase cost today.
 
So, we recommend the Allianz flight insurance if you need to travel while waiting for your Oath Ceremony notification.  
You will need to submit a copy of your N-445 and "paid receipts" for both original and revised flight ticket costs.  Everything is done online, scanning and posting these travel docs on Allianz web site.  Easy to follow instructions provided at web site.
