  1. mollyreyna,

thank you :luv: he is flying sometimes next month

well to answer your question, he wasn t asked about the permesso di soggiorno but he had it as well as his work certificate. I hope they won t ask your husband but I believe he should have a receipt for his filled permesso that should do :)

don t worry about the interview so much it will be way simpler than what you think. just make sure he is organized and know what to expect okay

    best of luck :luv:

  2. i am still waiting the packet 3 :crying:

but why i ll find inside it the DS 230 and I 864 affidavit of support

that i have already filled ?

i have to fill them again???

ot it s enough the copy i have of them

i have to fill the ds 156 online ?? when ?

    Kappa,

if you are filling for the cr1 like we are ..I wouldn t count on the embassay sending any packet...email them they will send you an interview letter and that all you need . all the document you would need are the ones sent with the ds 230 part I document instructions and download the ds 23 part II ....ds 3026 for the medical exam

that is all you need NO 156 that is for the k 3 visa not the cr1 okay

let me know if you need help finding the forms I can email them to you or give you a link okay

    best of luck :luv:

  3. Hi guys,

3sila, hope everything is going well, I know today and tomorrow are very important for you, please give all of us details!

My husband's interview is in one week. We have yet to pay the 100 dollars at Banco Nazionale di Lavoro. What does he have to say when he goes there? (In italian, please!) Does he fill in a form, or just simply tell them that he has to pay the visa fee?

    Thanks!

    Molly

I wish you and your husband the best of luck, :star:

I am not sure as far as the fees because we filled for cr1 and not the k3 and so the only thing that my hubby payed for was the medical exam and veccination fees and that was about 235 eu and he payed cash NO PROBLEMS .

let me know if you have any other questions I will try to help. I will write a detailed review for the medical and the interview soon :luv:

  4. :help: I am in dyer need for a little advice. I am married to my Italian prince and we are both living now in Italy. The original plan was to get married here and get his visa through direct consulate. Well, it seems as though that fast track may not exist here in Rome. I am anxiouse to get back to work in the states. I was advised to apply for the I-130 then when I recieved the notice apply for the I-129F. This is supposed to be the quickest way for us to leave the country. My concern is would it be smarter for us to stick out his I-130 here in Italy? May it be a quicker and easier process for him to recieve his visa here in Rome? I asume since I live in California finishing our visa journey there may be a long long complicated fiet. I have been holding on to these forms for 2 months anxiety ridden with what to do. I don't mind sticking things out for the next 6 months or so if it will may life less complicated in the end. Please, please I beg anyone with any tid bit of info for a moment of your time to help. Thank You :help:

    colgirl,

yes I believe your best bet is cr1 and so do I130 alone..the process realy doesn t take longer than the k3 that you will have to adjust later ...if you are willing to wait a couple extra months, it is a smart way to go .

    good luck

  5. From certain medical standpoints, yes, it's not the best idea for your health. Room temp and warm beverages are much better for your digestion. From studying oriental medicine for a few years, this is a big no-no for them. I highly doubt your healthcare provider would care one way or the other, but ask a DOM (Doctor of Oriental Medicine) and they will tell you to stay away from colder beverages and treats (ice cream, frozen yogurt, etc).

Most of the time, I follow this, but in 110degree weather, I'm digging some chilled water. Normally, I drink room temp tho.

yes I totaly agree with you.also, growing up I remmember my gramma and mom make me wear shoes and explained that the cold coming thru the ceramic tiles cause romatism (I am not sure what you call it in english). they always told me that you just wait when you get older you will soufer for walking bear feet. :P

this was my experience growing up

  6. hello bree,

about the room, he doesnt want me to use my credit card since as he said there is so much fraud(cash is his solution  ). anyway he called canada

hotel and was told it was fully booked :crying: , online it shows that they have rooms available

this mornning, he called an old friends of his , and she managed to book another hotel for him , not sure about the hotel name yet he will call me tomorrow about that info.

it seems like it should all work out just fine, and yes I don t know if we can trust that site either B)

    keep in touch :luv:

it is funny how thier price is higher if you book thru them

  10. all my love,

Hi there, sorry I haven't been around much lately. My nephew is here staying part of the summer with us and I just can't keep up with him, lol, he's 3! Everything I do he wants to do too!

:star: No, you do not have to fast, interview pack specifies that you don't have to, sorry that you haven't got that packet yet. In a nut shell it says that you'll need the Vaccine Certificate from the ASL for the Medical, 180 Euros, pictures (how many, was it 1?)Interview: origional documents for them to verify the copies that you'll give them, asked for passports, marriage certificates, divorce certificates, any military or court documents, husbands Birth certificate (the one with his parents names and places of birth). DS-230 form 1 and 2 (we faxed them part 1 like they asked but found out thtat they didnt have it on file.) part 2 unsigned, evedience of relationship, I-864's.

    o's, Bree

    breezy,

thank you soooo much for the info you are always such a big help :luv:

  11. help pls..how can i petition my brother 2 the US?..i was petitioned by my fiance k1 and when all the process is done and i became a US citizen how can i petition my brother as an immigrant? i heard 2 someone that i should petition first my mother and she can bring my brother if he is not older than 21.. is this true?? pls help me.thanks and god bless

    hello

I believe it deppends on how old is your brother..

if he is very young like a child you wanna petition for your mom first and when she becomes a legal resident she will be able to petition for him as sibling under 21 ...now if your brother is older or almost an adult you should file I 130 for him

I hope this was of some help

  12. for 3sila

hope you guys are all doing awesome

    :luv:

  13. Fine, they were just friends while she was married, he learns she's having problems getting her husband to talk to her once he finds out he's not eligible to come to the U.S., and now this 'friend' wants to be more than friends. Methinks the friend thinks she's an easy mark, not that he's just fallen in love with her.

Also, while the experience of many women here suggests that Moroccan men, to the extent that you can generalize, are hard workers who like to provide for their families, between the fact that Morocco isn't a wealthy nation and the exchange rate, you're not going to find a Moroccan sugar daddy.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my husband, but one thing I have noticed with Moroccan men is that they have the easy life while the woman does all of the work. If I was searching a sugar daddy it would NEVER be from there....it would just plain be too much work.

I am sorry to tell this as a moroccan woman married to a moroccan man....

growing up in morocco when a guy go out with a girl ..it is his call to pay when a man is married to a woman it is his call to pay for all expences (rent bills ...)

I can tell you that because most moroccan are muslims and a muslim man is required to provide for his wife..now even if the woman is rich she has the right to her money and she is free to do what she is pleased with it

now I feel like with my husband I had made a full circle (I was married to an american ) ...he knows everything about my finance and he is not pleased since I am in debt  (long story)

he payed pretty much for everything and when we went to morocco he told me if I use any of those card it wont be pretty :o YEA he had even giving me money to give to my family payed for our 2 days wedding and our trip in europe and morocco. I payed for my expensive trip tickets and couple gifts for him ....trust me he is not rich but he is very good with money

now he want me out of this debt ####### before he gets here (I totaly agree and love him more for giving me the support)because we want to start from a positive situation financialy..so we can start a family

I am working 2 jobs and on my way to be free from these credit cards traps..he choose to send me money from time to time instead of gifts

  14. A friend of ours is registered and says it speeds things up quite a bit for passport renewal or any other help they may need from the Morocccan government. We haven't rushed to do it since his passport won't expire for several years, but we will do it. I suppose it's similar to us registering with the State Department when we go overseas, which I did. If something comes up, they already have enough information on file to start helping.

    hello everyone :luv:

this is my experience with moroccan consulate in regards to registering...YEs you are right every moroccan is required to let the embassay pretty mch know where they live and what there are doing...

I lived in the us for years and never needed the embassay for anything until I was getting married in morocco and so I needed them to notorize my american marriage and divorce decree....that is thier way of verifying the documents (i guess)...they had me send pictures and I believe 15 dollars for the registration to send me this card that reminded me of school card with picture stapled to the folded card and they hand wrote my name age wherr I live and other infos ..it is kind of a stupid i thought they can t even print thier cards...??

this is year 2006 hehehehe

so my point is you don t have a choise as far as registering and getting this card ..when you need the moroccan embassay for something they will have you pay and get registred.

  15. Jesus Christ I'd cheat on you too. Let the poor woman do what she wants with immigration. It's not really cheating if one member of the relationship has already declared the relationship over.

I agree  ..I thought marriage is for good and bad :( and from this guys post ..it sounds like he is married to this woman just so he can have kids....this woman deserve better LET HER MOVE ON WITH HER LIFE...

  16. From the US consulate in Naples web-site:

The U.S. Consulate General in Naples is Italy's sole immigrant, fiancé(e), and diversity visa-issuing post and is responsible for processing immigrant, fiancé(e), and diversity visa applications for residents of Italy, Iran, and Malta. The Consulate provides these services by appointment only.

From this paragraph, it does not seem that a national of a country not listed above (in red) can be processed at the Naples consulate. But futher clarification is definitely necessary.

    Further down the page:

For additional information, e-mail questions to IVNaples@State.gov; fax the Consulate General at (39) 081-583-8394; or write: Consolato Generale Americano, Piazza della Repubblica, 80122 Napoli, Italy.

If you have a case number, have already contacted the Visa Information Service, and are in need of additional information, you may contact us only between 2 and 4 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesday by calling (39) 081-583-8111 and following the directions for immigration visas.

Have you contacted the consulate in Naples directly? If so, have you asked them what their policy is regarding foreign nationals interviewing for an immigrant visa in Naples? Sometimes the consulates can be very intent on procedure and can refuse to process the visa, even if it is sent to them by NVC. They can just have it transfered to Poland if they do not want to process it.....each consular post does have the right to refuse to process a visa petition.

    -P

Thank you so much for this information. I guess I will have to wait till we have a case number and give them a call. NVC advised me that the only way to change a consulate is for me to fill out the $200 I-824 and indicate our preference, then wait for additional processing, which can take up to 6 months.

    hello you guys

you know I went thru the same exact thing. in my case we got married in morocco but he lives in italy ..I called and asked about the k3 ...I was told he would have to go to morocco to have his interview because we got married in morocco...

thought about it and opted for the cr1

Anna I believe your best option is to cancel k3 and pursue cr1 instead ...i believe you would save money and time ,consedering all the cr1 benifets

wish you the best of luck
