Usually they will update it once you complete the biometric. In my case, mine was updated few hours after I finished my bio. 
But I will not worry about it too much tho, sometimes they just don’t update it timely, my I765 just updated to card was mailed a week after I got the EAD.

We didn’t make any inquiries, just waited for the status update.

If you file your I-485 based on marriage with citizen, you will have to go the interview with your spouse, this will be explained in the interview notice letter. I guess that all depends on the immigration officer whether he/she wants to talk to both of you or just the applicant. As I noticed, some couples were both called in to the room by the officer. But in my case, the officer handled my case only called me.

Just sharing my experience!

I had my interview done on 25th, only I did the interview, and the interviewer just asked for my passport and EAD, that’s it. She didn’t ask for any other documents that I brought.
After checking my passport and EAD, she basically just went through my I-485 info. The whole interview was just for 15-20mins, then I signed my name on the form and found out new card is being produced 30mins after we left the building. 

From my experience, the whole process went really fast after I completed my biometric.

So I haven’t heard any approval notice from my I-131 or I-765 application, however, I received the interview notice for my I-485 today...that’s interesting that my I-485 is moving faster than the other 2 applications...but that’s a very pleasant surprise.

I had my biometric done in the mid August, my I-485 application shortly changed to ready to be scheduled an interview, but my I-765 is still showing fingerprints were taken, not to mention my I-131, nothing changed after they received my case. Does anyone here has about the same timeline as me? I guess one good thing is that I got my SSN card already...
Kinda frustrating tho,  I want to be able to work soooon!

Hi, just here to share my experience.

Me and my husband have most of the documents ready, we were planning to mail out the application by the end of March. However, right now we are waiting for our marriage certificate(we called and they say it might take 2 months to get it! Grrr!) and my health insurance enrollment notice and of course the credit report everyone is asking about.

I have SSN already, but when I was trying to apply for it online, they all required me to provide an US address that I’ve lived longer for 6months, which I don’t have!  Also, I have tried calling those 3 credit bureaus and did not get any agent to answer my call at all. Trust me, I tried calling for 3 days at least. Therefore, I decided to print out the form and add an explanation of my situation and we are going to mail it as this is how some people did and get the document. Hopefully we’ll get it sooner as most cases I’ve seen is about 3wks.

Finger crossed! Hope I’ll get the needed documents ASAP and hope things work out well for all you guys who are still struggling.

So I already got packet 3 and filed my DS160 and paid the fee, just waiting for availability date to do the interview.

Unfortunately I found out that I typed wrong name for my mother’s name for the form I129F and DS160 (Chinese name translation, I typed D but it should be T)

I’ve been searching on VJ and found that people said just correct it at the interview stage. Is that ok for my case? If so, that means I have to file another DS160 and correct the number on my account? 
 

or any other advice?

just another question here, does anyone encounter that when they put correct receipt number on the old tracking site but nothing happened? It worked for me at first time when I searched it today only, which is why I saw that we have RFE.

Update, my fiancé got the mail earlier today, guess posting here speed up the process, lol

anyway, our RFE letter said that we missed to check the box for IMB part(which I remember that part was checked), good thing they already provided the sheet for us to check it, so I don’t need to sign on it again, 

finger crossed, hopefully this is the last RFE for us and we’ll get NOA2 soon.

Hi everyone,

Just found this forum, not sure if our case belongs here or not, but we sent out our application via UPS from Taiwan on April 30, and it showed they received our case on May 1, NOA 1 was sent on May 6, but my fiancé got it on Jun 16 (might be few days earlier).

Hope our documents are detailed enough, because the carrier asked us to remove the paper clips as it’s an international package, but we did put the file in order (application form, proof of relationship...etc) and we forgot to file G-1145 form together, so it was a hard time before getting the NOA 1, lol

Now the waiting mode on.
