Is there data for just n400 filers? I am one as well and filed in December 2019. Trying to figure out some details and plan things. OBV nothing is certain but just trying to get a ballpark.
Try using Visajourney Timeline. There you can go into each applicant's profile and see their timelines. If you see a person scheduled for interview and their application date is somewhere in 2019, that person is likely a single filer.

Yes. I came here on an IR-1 so got a 10-year GC on entry. So glad I don’t have to go through ROC. That seems to be completely messing things up for people.
Ok that would mean much faster processing for you. You should be able to get it done before Nov.

I wrote to Senator Maria Cantwell last week. I’m not expecting to hear anything from her for several weeks.
It takes a month or so for her to get back on the inquiry.
Are you N400-only filer?

Looks like a lot of offices are cancelling through the end of March... I can only hope that my interview doesn't get pushed again...

It's happening in various places across the country in response to the coronavirus pandemic...
Do you know how far they cancelled? I've heard some offices cancelling till the end of March...

Why did they cancel the whole event?

My interview was at 1:30PM. However one person I know had the 8:00 AM interview the same day also did not get to do same day oath. She was also scheduled for the March 18 ceremony.
Thank you.

@N400NYC so depressing 😔
May I ask you when in the day your interview was scheduled at? I have my interview scheduled at 10:50, I'm not sure if that is too late for same-day oath.

Thank you. I appreciate that.

That kind of sucks. I waited 11 years for my employment based Greencard. Have been a tax payer for about 20 years and now again in this in infinite wait. Oh well, lets hope they figure it out. My relative applied in Sept and got their certificate in Jan in Boston.
Since you are not a combo filer, your case probably will be done within a year.

You have waited 17 months for an interview?! It's so unfair that people should have to wait so long. I don't understand why there hasn't been a greater system-wide/national effort to more effectively standardize the wait time from application to interview.
We actually still have several people on this thread that have been waiting for their N400 since April 2018. Unfortunately Seattle has a lot of applicants and USCIS upper management has failed to increase staff numbers to handle this. With the current administration's hiring freeze, the future applicants might have to wait even longer. When I applied in 2018, people from 2016 were just getting their N400s done (16-16.5months) and I though that was insane and that my own case would be faster. But it wasn't. Seattle office continued to receive more cases than they could process. So they ended up having to dump cases to nearby offices. But nearby offices only have so much room to absorb them. I'm afraid that if Seattle continues to have more cases in than out, new combo filers will end up waiting 20 months or more.

What was your filing date? Trying to get a sense on the backlog
I filed in October 2018 for N400, Oct 2017 for I-751. Check my timeline for details

Good for you! For me, it sucks. I have to wait more than a month from my original appointment.

Log in into your acct again. I got the same email and checked earlier in the morning. It only said it was rescheduled.
I check 5 minutes ago and I was already rescheduled for April 14 at 7:55AM
They descheduled me after rescheduling, and rescheduled me again to March 24 this morning. Moved forward a month.

I still don't have it. My original interview never showed up in the documents section. April 14 is quite a pushback...

I received an email this morning for rescheduling. I'm hoping to see the details by mail soon.

Seattle office really needs more workers. But this administration has placed a hiring freeze on non-asylum related workers since Dec 2019, meaning in the year of 2020 the situation in Seattle will not improve.
-
I received an email from USCIS this morning
"USCIS will send notices with rescheduling instructions to applicants and petitioners with scheduled appointments impacted by this closure. Application Support Center (ASC) appointments missed due to the office closure will be rescheduled by USCIS and you will receive a new appointment letter in the mail. Individuals who had InfoPass appointments at the field office will be rescheduled through the USCIS Contact Center."
It did not say when their office will be back open. King county recommends people work from home till the end of March.

Where did you see the information regarding the rescheduling?
On their office close website.
-
Provided that the Seattle office is closed for 14 days:
If you are scheduled an interview anywhere from 3/3 to 3/17, USCIS will automatically reschedule your interview. You do not need to do anything. However they might not start rescheduling until they are back to work.
If you have an INFOPASS appointment, you must reschedule it on your own.

Congratulations that you are almost done with the journey!!
I also have I-751 pending and filed N400 on 12/2019. I am wondering if you have contacted any senator or congressman to inquire about your case? Was it successful?
I did the inquiry on I-751 (my N400 is not out of normal processing range) & contacted Maria Cantwell. The reply was very generic, saying that they were aware of my I-751 and it was at NBC waiting for Seattle office to schedule for interview. Once the interview is scheduled, my I-751 would be sent from NBC to Seattle office.

I got a response from Senator and Congressman.
Dear Mr. xxx,
In response to my inquiry on your behalf, I have been in contact with and received the following information from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services:
Thank you for contacting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on behalf of your constituent, xxxxxxx, regarding his Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence, and his Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.
USCIS records confirm that Mr. xxxxxxxx's Form I-751 is pending interview scheduling. Per regulations, we cannot adjudicate the Form N-400 until the Form I-751 is adjudicated. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused. USCIS realizes that your constituent is concerned about the progress of his case. Please assure Mr. xxxxxxxxx that we are aware of your inquiry, and that this case has not been forgotten. If he has not received a notice in 120 days, he is welcome to contact us.
Mr. xxxxxxxx may wish to visit the Seattle Field Office to receive a stamp in his passport or a temporary card, which denotes temporary evidence of lawful permanent resident status. To do so, Mr. xxxxxxx may make an InfoPass appointment by calling the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. He will need to bring to the appointment the receipt notice for the forms and either his valid passport or two passport size photos.I appreciate your bringing this matter to my attention and giving me the opportunity to assist you in resolving this issue. I sincerely regret that my response cannot be more favorable at this time. Please feel free to contact my office in the future, should you need assistance with another matter involving the federal government.
Sincerely,
Maria Cantwell
United States SenatorI got pretty much the same response from the Congressman which makes me believe it's just a generic response. What do you guys think?
"120 days" is the difference. That means you are pretty close and they do have your case on hand.
-
Do you guys know what I should bring for the combo interview? The notice letter only mentioned N400 and evidence required for N400 application. It made no mention of what I needed to bring for I-751. I would assume that they would do I-751 first and then N400.
