Hi @JudithnFranki19
I was the first petition to get approved here.
I filed on 28/03 and USCIS approved on 20/06.
I was so excited thinking I might be able to move to the US before Christmas but boy was I wrong. We never got any letter saying Our case was sent to NVC. All we got was the confirmation it was approved by USCIS and that it will take longer than 30 days to get to NVC as I was a part of the pilot process of IOE petitions. After waiting for 12 weeks without any communications. We started calling both NVC and USCIS as well as online queries. After maybe 100 something phone calls, and raised a service request with 2nd their officer( you need to ask for this as only 2nd theirs will be able to open service request for you), we found that USCIS never sent the petition. It got stuck somewhere in the mail room. Their reason was that usually they try to fill up the whole box before they send away. Sometimes Latter approved petitions Are in the same box with older approved period etc.
We just got the letter confirming USCIS sending our petition last week. So we will start calling NVC next week to bug them until they give us a case number and then go from there.
I suggest to start making noise with USCIS.
goodluck!

Mr&Mrs Marshie got a reaction from S&S16 in I-130 not received by NVC - pilot electronic process
@S&S16
Hey guys,
I am in the same boat.
NOA1: 25/03
NOA2: 20/06
and then nothing until now.
We called NVC and they said they did not receive and can’t assign case number.
We called USCIS and they said everything is done on their side 28/08 but not sure what happened after. They don’t have process or tracking after 28/08. They can’t even answer where the petition is. They said it’s upto NVC to pick up now. And I’m like pick up as in physically?
I’m worried hearing that you say they don’t even have the system to receive the IOE petitions.
Let me know what you decide to do. We had a case officer yesterday so after a month then we might hear something. If not we need the push the lawyers to contact somebody too.

The new online filling, which the Receipt number starts with IOE-xxxxxxxx, this is online petition. There is a whole thread on it on Visa Journey, but I dont think you should worry as you have already passed USCIS and NVC stages. Congrats!!!
This is the email I got from NVC. They ahve not sent me anything, no case number, no welcome letter. Should I be worried?
I need 7 police checks and some of them takes 2 months to process anyway, so im hoping I get a case number and can upload my documents to NVC by end of September. Then hopefully, very hopefully, interview by November...
Dear Sir/Madam:
Greetings from the Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC). We are contacting you regarding your recently approved immigrant visa petition. Based on your USCIS receipt number, your case benefited from a pilot electronic process for the I-130 petition. USCIS reviewed and approved your petition faster than average cases of this type as we develop the fully electronic transfer of data from USCIS to the Department of State. We thank you for your patience while we continue to refine our process with these electronic petitions. We wanted to alert you that it will likely take longer than the 30-day timeframe mentioned on USCIS's approval notice to you. Despite this delay, please rest assured that we expect the overall time between filing your petition and completing processing with NVC will be far faster than average for this petition type. When we complete the data entry for your case you will be notified by email or letter. This will include instructions on how to log into the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) to begin case processing with NVC.
You are welcome to contact us with questions at <https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry>.

Hi everyone,
Just updating those those who wants to
travel to the US.
I entered NYC on 18th April on my existing ESTA just fine. I scanned my passport on the machine and did not get an X and went to the line which gets less scrutiny, I think.
The officer asked me what was my purpose for entering and how long I was staying. I said to visit my husband and I’m staying for 4 days only as due back to work on Tuesday. He was like when was the last time you came and I said March. He said very friendly so if you are travelling every month just make sure the total time you spend in the US doesn’t exceed your time in country of residence and maybe apply for B1/B2 visa if you don’t want to have issues at border. He asked some more questions about what I do for work and why so many visa and travels on my passport etc but all friendly vibe.
He did not mention anything about my pending I-130.
Do you guys think he could see my I-130 already? As I have just filed March 22nd.
I’m travelling again to nyc in July, wondering if I should get the B1/B2 visa he recommended.
