Ich muss mal schauen ob es da neuere daten zu meinem FO gibt aber werd auf jedenfall die Tage alles vorbereiten und dann gehts los 🎉🎉🎉

Update on my wife's case, so we filed for N-400 on December 2023 while I-751 pending as Cse Received (491 days). Biometrics appointment got scheduled in few days, and followed by citizenship interview for February 2024. From what I've read on other forum topics, people mentioned they got combined interview notice for pending I-751 and new N-400. In our case it was not, it only mentioned about my wife and the interview date. So I thought we kind of got a waiver of some sorts so they will skip the I-751 interview. Fast-forward to February Citizenchip interview. I was just planning to drop her off because of the covid rules, they were not allowing other than applicant to be in the waiting room. When we got there those covid restrictions were already lifted so I decided to go inside and wait. I'm glad that I did that, few minutes later USCIS officer came out and called my wife and after he has seen me nxt to her he asked me to go in first. Then officer said that reason I'm being asked for an interview is that we have I-751 pending and we'll go through combined interview I-751 and N-400. 
 
I-751 interview was pretty quick like 2 minutes ish. He asked about how we met and how we have been living together, adding that he has no issues and said will not ask much. Same happened when my wife got called, she mentioned 2-3 questions about us and sign a paper for her answers, again taking 2-3 minutes. 
 
N-400 interview was a breeze with English and Civics questions followed by questions about the application itself. The odd part is that officer said that she passed the Citizneship Interview and congratulated her, but he checked the box where decision cannot be made at this time. I assumed it was due to I-751 needed to be actioned before the oath ceremony.
 
So now we are stuck, no oath ceremony has been scheduled or any movement on I-751. Some similar posts that I found that it is taking up to 2 month to close up the I-751 and oath ceremeny to be scheduled. So I will give them another month and see what happens if not will try to get on a phone cal with the USCIS

Receipt notice inklusive 48 Monats Verlängerung ist nun im Account hochgeladen und kam vom Service Center in California. Processing Times 22 Monate.  And so it begins... 😄

Did you added the NOA2 from your K1 to the packet? And a copy of the visa in your passport?

I posted this in the October N400 filers section but wanted to update here too that I had my citizenship interview on Tuesday and was approved. It was the easiest part of all of the processes. I arrived at 11:30am, my appt time was 11:55am but they called me after only maybe 10 mins of waiting and I was out of the building at 12pm.
 
First I was asked to take a photo and do index finger prints only, then the officer asked me to show my 10 year green card, 2 year now expired one & my passport.  I was asked 6 questions for civics, asked to write a simple sentence on a tablet (We pay taxes.), read out-loud a sentence on a tablet & then she asked me to confirm address, how long I’ve lived there, date of marriage, if I have children etc.  then all the ‘are you a terrorist?’ Style questions lol. 
 
Then I had to sign some things and that was it. I was told to hang on to my green cards & was handed a piece of paper saying they recommend my case for approval and verbally told there’s a back log right now of people needing oath ceremonies so I’ll likely have it sometime in March or April.  The app is updated already to say the oath ceremony will be scheduled and I’ll be sent a letter in the mail. 
 
Best of luck to everyone waiting on news. I’ll check here from time to time but for now, it’s so surreal to be done with this journey!!😊

Ich hab jetzt den newsletter vom Bundesgesetzblatt 🤦‍♀️ die Gesetzreform tritt 3 Monate nachdem es im Bundesgesetzblatt steht in Kraft. Anfang Mai wird des also definitiv nichts 🙄

Ne. Das wird angeblich wieder nach Auslastung verteilt. Warum dann aber manche ein Jahr Wartezeit und andere 2.5 Jahre haben kann dann auch wieder keiner erklaeren 🤷‍♀️🙄

Aber ich werd wahrscheinlich Ende des Monats das N400 einschicken und das wird dann hoffentlich alles regeln.

Es geht nur zum field office wenn die dich interviewen wollen. Die meisten ROC werden ohne interview approved und dadurch vollstaendig in einem service center bearbeitet hab.
 
Du musst deine Greencard immer bei dir haben als LPR. Das ist vorgeschrieben. Ob du es machst is deine Sache 😁

Germany voted to change the law and allow dual citizenship in the future. Still gonna take some time till it's all official but hopes for May 🤞

Auf Seite zwei des angenommenen Gesetzentwurf heißt es: "Mit der Rechtsänderung entfällt zudem das Antragsverfahren zur Beibehaltung der deutschen Staatsangehörigkeit nach § 25 Absatz 2 StAG." Also alles gut für uns!

Our case was randomly "approved" without an interview on December 29th, 2023 according to the online tracker. Filed in early November 2022 at Lincoln Service Center. Biometrics were waived in mid-December 2022 and then there was no movement until now. Did NOT file N400. Approval notice is coming in the mail today according to Informed Delivery.

Wie immer Geld ueber Fotos 😅 alles was du aufgezaehlt hast ist mehr als genug um da gut durch zukommen. Ich hab diesmal alles nur vierteljaehrlich geschickt und nich wie vorher monatlich. Ein Jahr Wartezeit rum, nur noch 15 Monate bis zum geschaetzten approval 🤣🤣🤣 wobei ich ja schwer hoffe das DE das mit der Gesetzesaenderung im April hinkriegt und dann wird sofort das N-400 eingeschickt.

I received the best early Christmas present ever!! I was curious so I logged onto the account (the app remains unchanged!) to see if the processing time for N400 had changed from 7 months and was so surprised to see my citizenship interview has been scheduled for February 6th!!!! My FO is Spokane, WA. Can’t believe how fast this is. I filed by paper on October 23rd 2023. 😬🎉🤯😅😊
 
My ROC application still shows the same online as finger prints are being reused so I assume I’m having a combination interview!  
 
Hope others get some movement and good news soon too. ✨
