Thanks @Ousaw, I was able to access it and they had 're-opened' the form for me to update. I believe I had accessed this for my 2nd interview to review it before submitting.
Upon quick glance, it seems they are basically incorporating the DS-5535 in the new DS-260 form.
I had my 2nd interview (re-oath) last year (April 2019) after which they gave me the DS-5535 (though I was told everything was good and the CO gave me the Welcome letter but also said theres some things she still needs to check...next day I got the 5535 by email). Now that they have asked for the medical, police cert, photos, passport & revised 260, I hope this is a good sign than just a information collection request?

Congratulations @Ousaw!!!
I have just been asked for my new medical, police certificates, passport, new photos and an 'updated DS-260'
I see you were inquiring on how to update your DS-260 a while back. Can you or anyone here share how to update it? Am not sure if the new form has significant changes but I assume we can update that ourselves without our lawyer? He's asking for more $$ to fill the form (out of which most of it will be the same information). Main changes that have occurred since re-oath interview is a new passport and new-born.
Would appreciate any help on this. Thank you.

I had my 2nd interview (re-oath) in April 2019 after which I was given the DS-5535 after. Been in AP since...
I just received an email from the consulate asking me to get new medical & police certificates (both expired from Nov 2018) and to also send passport, pictures & 'updated DS-260 online application form' in order 'to continue my processing my case'.
I hear the DS-260 has been updated since? I cant access the form on CEAC or AIS. How do I update it? Can anyone assist?
When I asked my lawyer about the form he said the embassy is asking me to 'file another DS-260 with supporting documents' and he is asking me to pay him $1500 !!
All I need to add is my new passport details and information of our new born. I haven't traveled since the interview. I imagine there wouldn't be that much new information requested in the updated form that was not covered in the DS-5535 hence we could file it ourselves?
My form was last updated for the re-oath around November 2018.
Would appreciate any help/suggestions on this please.
Hoping its a good sign that they are asking for these things...

@BaylorWe might have a case of prior unlawful presence that needs an i-601 waiver. However, we respected the imposed 10 year ban based on our situation (actually surpassed requirement with no presence in 14+ years!!). Was your i-601 waiver because you had a prior unlawful presence in general and still respected the requirements or is it because you were looking to waiver requirements?
No it was a different scenario. I imagine you should be okay if you have been away for that long. My knowledge is very limited in this area perhaps the more experienced folks in this forum can advise better.

Oooooooo so is the difference u.s. citizens vs U.S. PRs? That's interesting. I'm really curious to know why some recent people have been let in and others have not (I.e. someone after April mentioned they got in)
Yes, you will be allowed to accompany the beneficiary if you are a USC, but not if you are a PR. That's what the lady at the counter said when entering the consulate. I imagine the beneficiaries that were allowed in would have shown their US pp.
This is important info for those of you who will be flying in for your appointments with your beneficiaries. Save $$ if they aren't USC.
Ofcourse, you can always contact the consulate to verify before booking flights.

Is there anyone here on AP (DS-5535) at the Montreal Consulate?
Just trying to get an idea on timelines

They completely turned me away saying I could not enter. I’m the petitioner. This was literally two days ago.
it was fine. Not a big deal. I waited outside.
They changed their rules in April. Only allow petitioners if they are US citizens

Normally its about a months away but all depends on whats available on your type of visa. I found it in early April for end of April. There were only two slots available when I saw mine, end of April and same say a week earlier.
Again, people who were applying for K visa were booked their spots before me but their dates were only available for May. You may be looking at June right now.

Hi @Baylor
I'm also in the same boat, couldn't attend my EB2 immigrant interview, was asked to reschedule via the AIS green website but been checking everyday, there hasn't been any available appointments.
Could you update us if you were able to secure an appointment finally through the site?
Hi there,
Yes I was able to finally. I had to check literally everyday MULTIPLE times. Its frustrating but it is what it is. I suggest you keep looking patiently until you find something (it took me about 6 weeks...hopefully you will be luckier). Also, found out that different types of visas have different slots.
Wishing you all the best !

I thought that Montreal schedules IR1/CR1 interviews, not the applicant. No ?
So I was able to talk to someone at the appointment centre (Thanks F+S for the contact) and they verified that IV slots aren't open as of yet and that K-1 slots are separate times assigned only for k-1.Sharing that here in case anyone is wondering.
PS: IV appointment dates are assigned by Montreal however, you book your own if called in for a 2nd interview
Will keep checking...
-
Do you still see dates?
I dont for IR1

Hi there,
I am an IR-1 actually and this will be my 2nd interview (after my i601 was approved). I was asked to schedule an appointment by Montreal as well and have been diligently checking for 3 weeks now but haven't found anything
Have been seeing the same words in red...No appointments available...try again later. I imagine the K-1 and IR-1 slots are the same (if someone can verify?) hence am assuming am in the same boat...looking for an appointment.
I tried calling the local number provided (for Winnipeg) but it would hang up after reaching the immigrant visa option hence I was wondering what number people are calling to check on appointments?
Was hoping to get something for April but I guess those are all full.
Just thought I would message here since I havent been getting a response when I posted as a new topic on this (sorry)

Anyone else having trouble getting an appointment at the Montreal Consulate?
I was also wondering if anyone knows if they are automatically populated (especially if there are any cancellations) or just during business hours? Any particular times of the day they are added or end of the month??
Any help would be appreciated please.

Ir1 visa interview was schedule by NVC.
Thanks for responding H&T.
You are right however my immigrant visa process has been a little different. We had applied in 2013, had an interview (scheduled by them) in Nov 2014. The interview started off well and everything seemed okay but at the end I was told I had to do an i601 waiver (due to my previous stay in the US). The waiver was approved last summer and then I was asked to update our DS-260, get new police certificates, pictures and medical (since it had been over an year). We submitted everything by mid December 2018. After being in AP for around 7 weeks, they said they had reviewed the file and in order to continue, I would need to schedule my biometric oath (re-oath). This time around, for my 2nd interview they need me to schedule my own interview date through the ais (green) site that I have been getting their communications from. This seems similar to the K-1 applicants.
Hope someone can enlighten on my booking issue...

Hi all,
Newbie here.
Am in the IR-1 category and finally got a 'Ready' to schedule my interview. I have been trying to look for an appointment for about 3 weeks now but all I see is: There are no available appointments at the selected location. Please try again later.
I was wondering if anyone has booked any appointments recently or is looking for them? We have been checking constantly everyday at different times of the day including weekends and it has been quiet stressful.
I have seen older posts with people having trouble getting appointments some years ago but would appreciate some reassurance from some of you if possible.
Also, is there a certain time of the week or month that they release appointments so I know when to look for them?
Thank you.

No, he's saying they finally asked for his passport 8 months ago (in May). According to @tiyyo 's timeline, he received the visa in August 2019.
