Yep. That’s my whole take on this. Can’t be with him in interview or the oath ceremony (darn that ‘rona virus) but at least we will be done with this whole process.

That sucks. My husband and his family wanted to come to my oath ceremony but I guess if they’re not letting guests in then there’s no point.

My documents tab isn’t showing the letter yet. How long after the interview notice showed up in the account was the actual interview date? Will they give 2-3 weeks notice for the interview?

Looks like Minneapolis office is the slowest moving office in the country...

Does anyone have any updates (interviews scheduled)? My husband filed in Oct, 2019, still no interview, but now he has " we are taking longer than expected... " in his online profile.

I filed in April 2019 and I see the same status that it’s taking longer than expected. Online processing time shows 23.5 months as of today. Did you file from MN? Mine is ND which is way slower even though it falls under Minneapolis processing office.

Chiming in to say that Mike's interview has been scheduled for 10/20 in Minneapolis. He's changing the spelling of his name so I'm assuming that's why we get to make the 6 hour trek to MN. I never expected for anyone to look at our app this year just because of Covid! I won't complain.  To my fellow ND filers keep your chins up your time will come too!

Yay! Congratulations. That’s awesome. It’s so good to see some movement in ND filers. I filed in April 2019 and waiting for interview. I really hope I get my interview this year.

I don't know what you mean by completion date... but I applied on 2/18 if that's what you are asking. Do you have the link on facebook?

Anyone had an interview in Minnesota? When was the last interview that we know of on here?

Hi. Did you file for a service request? It’s showing July 31, 2018 today and all applicants that submitted prior to that can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online.

I filed in April 2019 and I’m a North Dakota filer. My online application shows we are taking longer than expected now. Guess I’ll have to wait for one more year now.

My only piece of positivity to share is that time keeps passing and never stops so the day will eventually arrive! But it's not fair (at all) that you have to wait so long

Ya I’m trying not to stress over it but it gets to me sometimes. The online timeline has reduced from 22.5 to 16.5 months now so I’m just hoping I should get my interview notice by August at least. But this timeline keeps changing very often so not getting my hopes higher.

All the best to you. Hope you will be a US citizen soon :)

Just to clarify - I think I'm correct in saying this - the "physical presence" piece is completed (it's a condition of eligibility) by the time you submit the application...what you are maintaining during this waiting period is "continuous residence" which must be maintained up until naturalization

@N400NYC You are right. It’s continuous residence. I applied for N400 after physical presence requirement was met.

I hope it will get faster, you never know. Are u still travel back and ford to Canada?

I hope so too. Yes I still go back and forth. Since I have remote job, I stay in Canada with my husband and come back to US only because I have to maintain physical presence until N400 gets approved. Can’t wait for this process to finish so that I can sponsor my husband.
