  1. I need some hope. Long complaining message here.

Thank you for your time in advance.

I don't know where or who I can share these with.

Hate when every time I talked with my friend she always says why don't you just get married with visting visa. ..... :/ well. That's not right thing to do. But what the heel I'm suffering from doing the right thing ?

It's only been 62 days at my noa1. So like some of you said my k1 visa still a tiny fertilized egg in big busy mama TSC.

I just got into a fight with my fiancé. About the timing we talked. It seems theres never a right time for us to talk. Even messages on whatsapp he feels like I'm bothering him sometimes.

In my night time (his morning) he got bunch of works to do.

He told me he wanted to chat with me but he got cought into jobs chores friends family.

He felt he can't be here for me fully.

    That bothers him.

End up he got nothing done. So distracting.

When he got time before bed.

    Its my morning. I'm working.

    I can't chat with him.

We're exactly 12 hours time different.

We only able to FaceTime durning weekend.

    We love each other.

But we both hate to be tied down on our phone.

I try my best to reply his messages. He does the same

We Both like to reply friends messages 3 days late or even longer.

we're so not long distance relationship type of people

We're so good to be togeher in real life.

We didn't start our relationship with long distance.

We lived together for 2 years. Never be apart. Longest time always from each other was 3 days..

Knowing that we got something in the future waiting for us. I know what we have is so much better than other where-the-future-is Long distance relationship.... I know that and greatful for that.

But still I don't really know what to do here.

Miles away. 12 hours time differnces.

    Phone hater.

    Both have busy schedule.

Anyone having similar long distance issue ?

How do you guys stay in touch in miles away ?

    TSC related question.

I saw theres flood damage in Texas.

Pardon me that I don't have time to find out more info on the internet. But I'm wondering will it effect TSC working ?

    TSC please.

even married couple can't be separated for over a year. It's really killing me now. So painful. Hurt so much.

7 months TSC vs 1.5 months CSC .... :/ so not fair.

Many people come to the USA on tourist visa & marry while they are here. We see this constantly here on V J. It is perfectly legal to do so.

The question is really about staying after marrying. If a persons intent at the time of entrance into the USA is to return to their country then they may marry & leave to return later with a different visa.

I am not sure why you have her come to the USA for a visit? People from Japan don't need visas to visit the USA.

  2. In the instructions for the I-864 it says:

"If you checked Item Number 2. in Part 6. (Self-employed), you should have completed one of the following forms with your federal income tax return; Schedule C (Profit and Loss from Business), Schedule D (Capital Gains), Schedule E (Supplemental Income or Loss) or Schedule F (Profit or Loss from Farming). You must include each and every Form 1040 Schedule, if any, that you filed with your Federal tax return."

I understand we would have to send the schedules in if we would use tax returns, but we will use a tax transcript instead. Do we need to send the schedules anyway?

    No.

  3. Hi all,

I have been looking for the answer to this question and I'm stumped. I have all my N-400 stuff ready to go but I'm confused as to how my 17 year old son gets Citizenship. He is a Green Card holder too. I know, I think, that his citizenship will be on the back of mine but do I need to send in passport photo's of him too? There is little reference to him on the N-400 other than his Alien number. Also, there is only one charge for biometrics, but don't I need to pay for two?

Thanks in advance. Apologies if these are dumb questions and I'm missing something. I have MS and my cognitive ability and memory are poor at the moment so I'm struggling with this stuff :help:

    Nikki

    They are not dumb questions.

    Two ways to do it.

You can file for him just as you did for yourself & pay the fee. He would receive the certificate just like you.

You can apply for a passport for him. We did this right in the same building immediately after my ceremony at a desk the U S passport set up. This is cheaper of course.

  4. I have just been to my doctor (after having been emailing her for approx. 5 months in regards to our situation) to have my immunisations before my medical exam.

As I haven't had any of the 3 of the course before, I am now being told the course takes 6 months! If I turn up with 2/3 of the course of injections to my medical, will I be told to wait the remaining amount of time before they can continue!?

Please help, I am so nervous.

We have just received our case complete email from the NVC took, so all the excitement of that has just been ripped from within me. I don't want to wait any longer than I have to to be home with my wife...

Relax everything is fine. You will just have the 3 you need for the visa. The follow ups can be done at your convenience once in the USA.

We had mine & my daughters done at our local county health clinic. Mine cost 23 dollars. My daughters were free. They created shots cards for us.

  5. can my cousin apply for a visa to come visit us, at the us she is from mexico and she studies cosmotology and in june her vacations starts, so she wants to come and visit,

She can apply but there is little chance at her being granted a tourist at her age simply because her ties are never going to be strong enough. Her school is easily replaced for example.

  6. Thanks for the reply. I guess I will just keep pressing on them to do their job. Firing them seems very complicated and will potentially prolong the process even further. I just hope it does not take over a year to get a fiancé visa

They cant do anything you could have done by yourself. They submit the exact same docs to the exact same offices ect. Once that is done they don't have any more info than you could get so you just have wait.

  7. Hi! I just had an interview today at the US embassy in UAE. The interview lasted only for a minute. He only asked about the purpose of my visit in US, how long I've been staying here and what company am I working for. The CO was typing something on his end and handed me over the paper stating the refusal.

I couldn't figure out why they would deny me right there and then. I've told him I was only going to spend my annual leave for thirty days and visit my friend since I'm staying with her for the whole trip. I want to explain further about the situation if there's something wrong but the CO didn't give me a chance to.

I have all documents needed from my employer and my friend's too.

Please advise me if I should re-apply because I really want to go there and I sure will definitely come back here in UAE. Thanks!

I think its clear that you are picking countries & excuses to attempt to gain entry into the USA. You are already outside your own country trying to gain entry another.

You were & will be denied simply because you have no ties to your country. They also believe you are adjusting the facts to create a truth that seems acceptable. That's exactly why the CO didn't waste anymore time on the case. The docs you had for example are worthless when seen in the right context.

Have your fiancé or B F meet you somewhere in the world . Not many have 30 days to live like that so you are lucky because you have that job to return to.

  8. Hey guys- we are trying to facilitate a visit for my husband's niece and nephew (age 16 and 11), they will need to obtain visitor visas, have any of you had recent success with this type of situation? Did the process go smoothly or did they drag their feet? Thanks in advance :)

This will prove to be difficult at best simply due to the country involved. The problem remains that USCIS views anyone with a visa as an intending immigrant.

You or someone can help submit the applications keeping in mind these cases are really decided before the interview which someone can attend with them of course. The interview would be very easy because the reasoning is easy to understand. To me this means the effort must be put into how to present proof that these kids must return. Its seems obvious but there must be no question in the embassies mind about the subject of return.

  9. Did people stay on AP and then Visa Issued??? My fiance dropped off his passport at DOMEX yesterday since his waiver got approved we got notification to have it dropped of for visa issuance but still on AP on the website. Anyone knows approximately how long would we have to wait?

Many people have endured and been granted visas.

Your situation is unique so no one will be able to tell you how long really. The fact you were asked to bring it for " issuance " is good.

  10. Going for my medical this upcoming Tuesday and then interview hopefully soon after that (k1 visa)

Am I supposed to get a copy of my medical for the aos process later?

What if I can't get a copy of it?!

*im still in my home country

Its unlikely that you will get a copy nor would you need one really. The medical report will become part of the case file. The medical is hand carried by you until it is turned in at the POE when you enter the USA. That info is forwarded to whatever office you will have the AOS meeting in later.

  11. hi,im from morocco my fiance from florida i had interview 14may 2015 for k1 i answerd for all questions was bad old guy interviewer when i finished he gave me white paper down write

    admin review

    give back your passport

thn he said we wll call u later

please can u tell me what does mean that! im very sad they dont answer if it s approve or not right away!

Your case has been put in A P for review. This is common in Morocco due to the high level of fraud.

Later? That could be anytime but prepare to endure the wait.

Returning the passport isn't a good indication that that case will be approved quickly.

No one can tell you when the outcome will be known. This is the hardest part of the wait because info is almost impossible to obtain.

  12. And she said this, I copied and pasted her words to get them right. "i need truly to hear positive experiences about people took this visa while they are in progress for k1 visa

i need a light for that“

My fiancee got this visa while in the process of the K1. I am talking with my fiancee now via text. She laughed when I told her about this post and asked if this lady is from China also.

I did not use a lawyer so I don't know what the odds are. But I searched the internet on this and could find nothing. WE DID IT

The O P did ask for others positive experiences and your fiancée had one. The problem is the Egyptian connection which can be very different than China.

I doubt in this case this female will be granted a B 2 visa. The pending K 1 is enough but Egypt is always very difficult for these B 2s. The only way to know is to pay the fee especially since money isn't a problem.

  13. Unfortunately my parents won't travel to Indonesia with me, as my parents only travel to Ghana and back to America now a days.

I was hoping their would be a better solution for this, but having her come to America for while would be a boost to our relationship. But seeing how people have to jump through legal hoops, is very difficult. Seeing as we both have never done anything like this before, it feels overwhelming and scary.

But I'm not the first person to do this, so I'm sure theirs a way for us!

And yes I want to do this legally! I don't want to break any laws. Seeing as though I feel like a guest in America even though I am a citizen of America and Canada. I respect the law and each country!

Plenty of us have been down these roads. It seems as you say but it can be simplified & you are in the right place for help. Keep in mind no one here knows exactly what will happen in her case but we can predict fairly well.

Step one is the initial application which is pretty easy. The case is unique as they all are. Here on the surface it seems like they would understand the culture at her embassy for example. This would then seem to insure success. But what must be considered is not why she wants to go but what compels her to return. That must be defined and presented to be granted the visa.

If granted she attempts entry into USA. Its at that POE where they assign the length of time she can stay & actual entry. This is where they wont understand the culture. That doesn't mean she wont get in; just that she will need to know how to answer the simple questions. This is easy because she just tells the truth.

Your only a guest here if you think you are. I became a citizen too & I assure you I am not a guest. Like all of us you just need time to relax into a new life maybe.

  14. My girlfriend is Indonesian, she's from Central Java. Need help with applying visa for her in the fall. What's the best way to go about getting a visitor visa? I'm planning to go to Indonesia February. Is it better to do the process while I'm there or is better for her to start the process while she's their?

If someone can please help much appreciated!

    Thank you!

She applies for the B 2 on her own merits. She must understand that the most difficult aspect is meeting the strongest ties rule which mean she must prove beyond doubt that she MUST return. This can difficult to do & requires thought.

Keep in mind that these cases are often decided before the person ever steps up to the window to interview. This means she must find a way to present her proof with the application if possible.

  15. First of all where is "here" and where is "there"? If "here" is the US and "there" is where she lives than the question is there. You apply for the visa before she comes to the US not afterwards.

If she will only come to visit (You do NOT intend to get married) best option is probably tourist visa. If you do intend to marry her than you might want to consider the K1 visa. Do not try to go over on a tourist visa and then get married.

People come to America often to get married using tourist visas to do so. There is nothing wrong or illegal about marrying while here on a tourist visa then return to their home country.

  16. The story is 3 days ago I was driving in school and the bus parking in school and show the sign to stop then I passed them after that I heard the honk from her but I stopped immedietly and turn back to talk a bus driver and said sorry to her because I didn't seen that sign very clearly and I didn't do it on purpose.

I don't know Will I get a ticket or no?

If I get it how long does it take a ticket to come in the mail?

    Thk u

    Appreciate for ur helping .

If you were to receive a ticket it would come from police not bus drivers. The driver could report a driver to police but I am sure your reaction took care of the problem.

  17. Okay guys it seems that it's not gonna be trivial.

So it doesn't matter whether the company is ready to do anything to strengthen my cause?, and so does my friend.

    Any bright ideas?.

    Trivial? Hardly.

The last thing you want is any " help " from outside sources to interfere in the case.

    Illumination?

All people holding any type of visa are considered intending immigrants by USCIS. That means they don't plan on leaving. Your job is to provide the proof required to allow issuance of the visa.

These cases always hinge on one primary aspect. The strongest ties rule. That means you the applicant & no one else must prove you must return. That will eliminate the trivial info I suppose.

The only way to know for sure is to apply with the above in mind. If you do so remember these cases are reviewed & determinations made prior to the interview. This means you need to get your proof in short form to them as part of the application.

  18. If I get a ticket. It'll be affect to me becoming to citizen?

    I live in MA

Your post is vague in some ways. If is a question for example. The header indicates you probably got a ticket. I don't see anything that say you did or didn't pay a fine. If you got a ticket take care of it. If you didn't then don't.

A simple moving violation ticket isn't going to affect your chances at citizenship.

If the ticket has not been paid by the time you go for your interview, your application will be delayed for further evidence. I have read about a recent case on this forum in which OP got a ticket and decided to make a deal with the court instead of paying for it. OP's application was then delayed when OP went for naturalization ceremony because USCIS IO wanted to see proof that the ticket was settled. So make your choice wisely because you could end up with two options (assuming your interview is close):

    - You end up with point on your license but your application is not delayed.

    - Your application is delayed but you may be allowed traffic school and no point recorded.

If you still have plenty of time between now and then, go to court and take the driving class if allowed. The best of both worlds.

How did you decide there is an outstanding fee for the ticket?

  19. Hello

My wife did the interview on dec 12 2014 at the local office area in Detroit and till now we didn't get anything and for the past 2 months everytime i checked on my status online its keep giving me the same error

    Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

    • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

    is that normal ?

Increase font to maximum for best affect. I can hardly see the message.

  20. 1. FBI do most certainly leave business cards with please contact written on the back on doors at times. Not a theory. Security Clearances for friends, family, neighbors, neighbors friends, neighbors extended family, etc. etc. or otherwise questions about some matter of interest to them.

    2. Stop Making it Complicated. OP should lookup and call local FBI field office and mention the note. It is normal enough that a party want to verify agency credentials.

    Make a phone a call.

It isn't complicated & it isn't about business cards. The FBI doesn't leave letter taped to doors nor use that type of language to describe the problem.

  21. if from the FBI on an official letterhead, you better believe it is legit!

Why would they do that? They are probably just doing fact-checking... Given middle-east conflict issues and our government being notorious for recording every conversation of foreigners and of US Citizens......lol Not much you can do about it. She just needs to do what the letter is requesting and call them up and talk to them.

Why would the FBI need to put a letter on a door ? A relative of my husband works for the FBI & says they don't do business that way.
