Correct, the thing is I was missing a number on the invoice ID. That's why when I tried to log in did not match.
Oh and how did you obtain that number, by calling NVC?

Let me clarify Adri, you received your case on the 20th and having trouble logging and today you were able to login. is that correct?

Your invoice is probably correct.
A friend of mine just got through to NVC and they said the problem lies with the new cases not being recognized by the system, hence the error we keep receiving. They are actively working on it and now are aware that it is affecting all of us. They said it's odd that someone was able to log in as most people after 02/20 cannot. The operator even tried to log in for her on his computer at NVC customer support and he got the same message. Fingers crossed that they will try to get this fixed before the weekend.
they should really put an note on this website saying some users may not able to log in and we are aware of the situation and actively working n it. and once its start working they should remove it so we know when to log in.

Just had a call with an NVC agent (after waiting for nearly 50 min). She told me that she knew about the problem. She will put me on the list of people having login problem and will submit this list to her supervisor at the end of this day. She also told me to take a screenshot of the error and send it to NVC. I already did it when I found out the login problem last week, just did it again today (to askNVC@state.gov at and the website https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html).
How long is your Invoice Id, mine is mixture of letters and numbers which are 16

Hi All,
just an FYI - I received my Case number on 26th February 2019. Five minutes back, I signed in for the first time - and I could Sign in without any issues.
Hopefully the issue might have been sorted for you all.
Cheers

You are lucky. Good luck

I am trying to logging since morning, the website is too slow and timed out.. that means lots and lots of people are trying to do or they are working towards fixing the issue.
