    Yes, what happened in the case I am talking about is that once the case got to the NVC. The couple requested a expedite for the processing of the IR1/CR1 immigration visa. The US Embassy must agree to accept the request also. So the NVC sent the case to them immediately to finish the process. It is of course on a case by case basis and the pregnancy was near term. It was similar to asking for a expedite for other medical issues. This was just for visa processing. I don't know if that makes any sense.

     

    This entire post is only relevant to people like myself that are separated from their spouses and families for months or years. And also trying to get a immigration visa to end that painful separation.

  2. I am still waiting for NOA2. The experience is from others I have talked to. All they said was that they requested and expedite from the NVC after they got a case number. And then the  NVC contacted the US Embassy who agreed to expedite the processes. So the NVC sent the case immediately and the remaining information was handled ant the embassy. If it works out for someone they could maybe save a 2-3 months.
