my online status has never changed since 8/15/2019: "we scheduled your interview"

    they request for more evidences.

The first interview the officer didn't check our documents at all. At the end I asked if she need more evidences, she said I submitted a lot and it should be enough. No more evidences needed. But I still gave her our phone + text records, more pictures, etc.

Now they requested the same thing (Joint Bank, Joint Tax, Joint Insurance, etc.) which we sent all of them already.

I am very confused now. The only thing I hope right now is that I can just go without my husband as he literally can't come at all.

    Any updates on your case?

This is absurd. if i am you i will file mandamus and threaten uscis with a lawsuit. They are suppose to give an answer within 120 days by doing this they are violating your rights. i will also reach out to your state senator and tell them the whole story. As some people waited 2 years or less for decision that is not acceptable. file a mandamus or atleast threaten them.

I know the pain of wait and waiting this much already is not helping you or the application. what if you get arrested in the mean time again for something else? i am not saying you will but everyone has a bad day. dont wait file mandamus.

File a mandamus cost money ...Why do people should file if they paid fee to get desicion after 120 days?

mine is 4 months. exactly 120 days (1/22/2020), they sent me letter for 2nd interview next 10 days and request my husband come with me (the 1st interview they didn't ask him to come but he came). Now he can't come because of military order in another state. Waiting for my lawyer talking to them if I can go without him.

What about your online status .Was it changed?

Depending on where you’re going, I suggest printing out the relevant USCIS carrier information guide page in English and your destination country language, JUST in case the check in employee is unaware of expired green card/NOA combo, or ADIT stamps. Also good to note down RCLG phone numbers so the carrier can clarify any doubts with RCLG.

I am not worry about country I travel to ...I am worry about leaving USA and have pending status .

I’m sorry. I explained what happened in a different post, but the magic happened when I reached out to the House Representative.. In less than 2 weeks I got approved. I encourage anyone out of processing time to contact the senator or the representative and not to waste time with USCIS inquiries like what I did.

At least they  approved you I 751 in 2, 5  month . Mine almost 6 month and still pending .i contact to everyone the same respond pending!

Ok guys I still haven't heard anything back from USCIS since Nov 13, when I submitted all the requested evidences online; my USCIS online system says they have received all the evidences they requested and I do not need to do anything at this time.  It also says that USCIS has begun the work on my case but it has been 2 months already and I am worried if my files are just sitting somewhere in the office and they completely forgot about it.

Because my original estimated case completion time on the USCIS system is supposed to be Jan 2020 and the system also said that they would provide me feedback shortly but currently the message is:

    Estimated wait time:

We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time.

I am paranoid because I have a vacation planned in July and I am not sure if I should book the air tickets now because I have a name change.  I am not sure when I will get further news and hopefully it will not drag for another 4 -5 months.

Any thoughts? similar experiences to share?

    Thanks!

I haven’t heard anything since August..

Today I went for the Infopass.

I asked the officer about my case since I heard he talked to few people before me about the process of I-751 and N-400.

I said he saw I did only the N-400 interview so still waiting for I-751.

I told him we did combo interview for both I-751 and N-400 at Naturalization Appointment.

The officer told me that currently for I-751 in California, waiting time is 19.5-22 months, and after that, they will assign our cases to field local officers which took up to 37 months total. So the process right now is 19.5-37 months total.

The officer check his system for my case and told me since my N-400 is submitted so it may push the I-751 a little faster than others and he said my case "not lost" ..lol.. , just waiting for review from Supervisor after an interview...

    ..

Hopefully he can make any note to make the supervisor review it faster... praying now.. =.= .. this process is driving me crazy.

Does not make any sense if u saw officer who interviewed you had your case,It’s up to him now not service center, all papers in his hands.

Where did you file your paper and had the interview?

i had my N-400 interview over 3 months ago and still no word at all.

i read by law, they have to make decision within 120 days after the interview. Mine is almost there.

my lawyer is considering filing a congressional inquiry for me by then as well.

I am waiting too.almost 150 days after my combo interview

    Update.

I wrote to a congressman and received this in reply:

Before sending the letter I asked an immigration attorney about the course of action. She told me to write to a congressman, and, if it fails to file a mandamus. The reply from the congressman's office tells me to do the same. I doubt that going to the district court worth it. I don't want to die on that hill.

    Did u got any updates?

no, we had this interview when I applied to remove condition. got called, separated, waited 9 months for results and once they finally approved us (we gave only one wrong answer) I was eligible to apply for n400 under 3 years.

On my n400 interview they accused me of shame marriage and sent home with RFE. I sent all they asked. Year later I got a letter for another interview. At that point i was so done so I withdraw petition and decided to wait to apply under 5 yr per my lawyer advise.

Applied again for n400 in sept 2018, had interview in March 2019, in april got RFE again. Still waiting......
