I emailed three different police stations where I have lived since I came to the US. They issued the reports, certified and emailed them back to me.

Today I finally had my I-485 interview at Queens Field Office, NY. The officer was very nice and he only asked for my updated Medicals, my passport and a copy of my divorce decree. Then he told me that I should receive a letter in the mail in a week or two and right away my status changed to New Card is being produced.

I received the same letter after I filed my vawa in 2019. The lawyer told me it was a glitch...

Hey, don’t stress out.

Letter or affidavits help too. They understand that each person has different situation. Some people simply don’t have joint bills or leases. All you can do is to gather what you can reach and explain what you can’t.

As long as it is not expired. You have to submit the PF to your school because of Vawa, you will not pass the computer match between DHS and fafsa i believe and that is because Vawa is confidential. Make sure on the fafsa form you choose eligible non citizen. Goodluck, if you have any questions, let me know.

Hey, thanks for the question. I am getting my fafsa as well for school. Do you need an official approval notice for that or only PFs work?

On their website, it says there have been some delays issuing receipt.

I see my VAWA is approved, but i did not receive notice yet. I married to US citizen and applied for VAWA and submitted I-360,I-485,I-765 all together. Original USCIS receipt Date is Feb-2019, and I-360 approval date is Feb-2020.
