Oath was done today in San Antonio, TX at the institute of Texan cultures at 2pm. Letter said be there at one, we got there at 1130am. They sat my wife at around 1230 and she started filling out the paperwork. Waited and about 130 the Army band played a few selections until 2. Color guard posted the colors, judge came out and swore everyone in. A video of JFK inauguration speech and a music video of proud to be an American. Start to finish it took about 30 minutes. Easier than I thought it would be, but we are done with USCIS thank goodness.

Congrats ! Mine is tmr at Atlanta office 🇺🇸🤩

Any one knows how long does it take typically take in Atlanta to get informed about your ceremony date after passing your interview? Do you get informed about date scheduled within days? My question is about when you get informed, and not about the ceremony date.

For my case. My stt on my uscis account changed in the afternoon same day my interview  day. " Oath Ceremony was mailed".
    07 Nov interview day

    22 Nov Oath ceremony day

  3. Hi everyone ! Im just did my test today at ATL office and passed 🤩. I went in and checked in with the receptionist just 2mins earlier ( on the letter they said you can get in 30mins early) im 32 mins early 😅 and she said she couldn't check me in after 2mins Lol. After checked in I went to the fingerprints and photo then I went up to the 2nd floor where I had to waited about 45mins and IO called my number. Everything took fast for me ( 15 mins ) and he was nice .He asked me 6 questions which I corrected all and reading writing test too.

    What are two Cabinet-level positions?

Why did the colonists fight the British?

    When was the Constitution written?

What did Martin Luther King, Jr. do?
What is the highest court in the United States?

Who sign bills to become law?

Read : Which state has the most people?

Write : California has the most people.

He ask all my information and how many trips I took in the last 5 years. He asked for my spouse information when we married and where we met?
Yes No questions he asked me very fast and didn't ask me to explain the specifics words in there😛. But just have 1 thing when he asked me "Have you ever not filed taxes ? And the next one is " Do you file taxes every year ?" so you have to pay attention and listen what they ask you.
Hopefully I can take my Oath before Christmas 🤩. Good luck everyone ! Last journey!

    Hi All,

    I really need your advices,

    so long story short.

    I filed my I 751 in January 2018.

Me and my husband use to marriage since  June 2015. He was in US army past 3 years and came back in March 2019, he decided to divorce and he opened divorce case in April 19 th .my case was approved  April 23. ( after 4 days) I got my green card for 10 years May 1.

I sighed yesterday divorce paper,I didn’t wanted but he pushed me every single day and I did it yesterday.

So my question is , if somehow I’m in trouble? Will that affect for my N 400 in future?

    thank you

First thing Im so sorry for your situation. You wont have any trouble with your N400 bc you and he were married in a good faith I believe so and you are already got 10 years gc. Just 1 thing you can not file your N400 on 3 year rule, you have to wait to 5 year rule ( 90 days early to file ) and keep all documents in your relationship which to prove you have a good faith in marriage when you go to the interview test. Good luck 🍀

  6. Hi 👋 everyone. I were here and followed this group every day for a long time and after I knew the USCIS want me to send more RFE to prove my relationship with my spouse i were upset and down but our relationship is true so I tried all my best to get everything they want me to send and return RFE as fast as possible because it's been a long time since I sent my package on Jan 02' 18. And today I get the notification on my phone then I go in to check it. Thanks God a lot ! My case get approved on today🤧. Exactly 16 months on the road.

    * A little tip : my RFE documents

.The last 3 years of tax joining file ( tax return form which I downloaded from IRS website)

.Join of Life - detal insurances

.24 month of joint checking account statements

.3 letter of our friends who knew our relationship and notary

.The letter explain why my spouse didn't put me on the leasing because we were plan to buy a house after we married but something happened so we waited for affordable time. We might do it this year.

. 20 our pictures when we went place and restaurant together.

    * Received RFE on April 8 - sent out on April 15 - USCIS get it after 2 days and show on my status on April 22. Approved on May 1.

    * I have not apply N400 which I will after I get my 10 year green card on 🖐.

God bless all you guys who are still waiting for this processing 😎

Received 18 months extension letter on 8/6/2018. Me and my wife are so happy. We have been lately checking my status case every day. I wish you all the best. Thank you for being here. Even though I almost don’t participate in this forum, I visit this site many times. God bless everyone
