Thank you very much! I was really surprised when I woke up the other day and saw the "we took action on your case" email from USCIS. To be honest I was expecting May to June for that 20 month mark. Looks like they didn't forget us haha. Probably because our I-751 case took longer at NBC, causing the delay for N400. But I think you guys are very close. Hang on guys! The journey is almost over.
Congratulations that you are almost done with the journey!!
I also have I-751 pending and filed N400 on 12/2019. I am wondering if you have contacted any senator or congressman to inquire about your case? Was it successful?

My online account shows as "last updated" on 2/24/2020. However, when I click on the case, I still see the same message from when my case was transferred to Potomac (from Vermont) back in October 2019. I have not had any RFE so far and I have not applied for N-400. Also, I have not received any notifications (online or hard copies) regarding this 2/24/2020 update.
Last night, I decided to call the USCIS contact center and dial in my case number. The automated message says that my case is in Lee Summit, MO. Last time I had called, the automated message reported that my case was in Potomac (for which transfer I had received an online notification and a hard copy in the mail).
@Heather&Kevin @justwaiting2018 my understanding is that you have received a hard copy in the mail regarding your transfer.
- Does your online account indicate that your cases were transferred on February 2020?
- Have you applied for N-400?
- Have you called the USCIS contact center (800-375-5283)? Does the automated message say that your cases are in Lee Summit, MO?
My online account did indicate that my case was transferred to National Benefits Center in Lee Summit, MO. I did apply for N-400 in December 2019. When my case was transferred, I called the USCIS contact center, the automated message did say that my case is in Lee Summit, MO. Hopefullly, they can either schedule interview soon or make a decision soon.....

Haven't updated in a while as nothing happened for 14 months since filing on 7 Dec 2018
Then, on 31 Jan 2020 we got an RFE asking for more financial proof - so I got hold of all previous joint tax transcripts and a few other bits and sent it back quickly.
And then on 20 Feb 2020 they issues a notice of transfer to National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO 64064 "to speed up processing"Anyone else had their case transfered? Just wondering how quickly we might expect a decision now?
My case was transferred to National Benefits Center on 02/04/2020. The letter says they completed a "preliminary processing" and transferred my case to national benefits center for further review. I have not heard anything since then. Still waiting...
PS: USCIS received my case on 12/31/2018

My interview was Des Monies, Iowa office. Very straight forward interview. Only ask basic question like how long you guys has been married? Kids? My wife hasn’t been to India yet? And he started typing and he printed a sheet. It said recommend for approval! I was numb. But when I left parking it my status changed to new card being produced..
Congratulations!! I have a question. Do you have N-400 pending as well? or just I-751?
-
Just an update:
My case was transferred on 02/03/2020 to a different office. Then, on 02/04/2020 my case was transferred again. These were the updates from case status check. However, it shows that "case was received at my field office" on MyUSCIS update.
I am not sure where my case is now....I do have N-400 pending. Does anyone experience the same updates?
-
I just received an email update this morning.
My I-751 application is transferred and new office has jurisdiction over my I-751 now. I have N-400 pending(applied online on 12/21/2019).
Does anyone know if it's likely transferred to NBC?
For those whose cases were transferred, how long after the transfer did you receive your decision?
Thanks in advance guys!!

I know there is a separate thread on Seattle but curious any Dec filers in Seattle? My estimate is March 2021 Hoping it comes sooner. It moved up to Feb 2021 for a few hours after the biometric but now its back to March 2021. Any ideas?
My estimated time is still February, 2021 and it has not changed. Where do you live on the eastside or in seattle? South seattle? I think location has a difference?

We are on the same boat. Even dates of filing and fingerprint collection are pretty close and my estimated date is Feb 2021. I am having my fingerprint on 1/23/2020. I was wondering the same, how accurate is that estimated date? Besides have you guys heard of any combo filer (Seattle) that has completed the N400 within the anticipated time frame (currently I guess 16 to 19 months)?
Oh by the way, you can do an early walk-in for your biometrics. I did an early walk-in with the receipt notice printed from the document tab online on 01/02/2020. No questions asked. in and out of the ASC under 30 minutes. Go early. My original biometrics date was 01/17/2020.

I haven't heard anyone got a combo interview....I went through some posts in this thread. Several other combo filers have been waiting almost two years. Seattle's backlog is ridiculous. sigh..

Ah. Well, hopefully it will be scheduled soon. Expect for it to take place in Tukwila though.
I hope so...although i've heard that combo filers in seattle are experiencing significant delays...

Entirely dependent on zip code. On USCIS.gov you can put your zip code in and find out which is your local office. I assume by 'eastside' you mean Eastern Washington, rather than the eastside of Lake Washington?
Not sure what you mean by same-day, but like all USCIS offices, interviews are scheduled in advance.
I live in Redmond so the field office is technically in Seattle. But last year around July, they were transferring cases to either Portland or Yakima to balance workload. I'm not sure which field office my cases will be... sigh..the wait is torturous...

I think the person lives outside the Seattle city area and is a N-400 only filer.
I was wondering in addition to py6, Washingtonian and me (GermanG), are there still other combo filers in the forum?
The 3 of us (I believe) filed I751 sometime during 2017 and N400, during 2018. We are the lucky ones wirhout Green Card or citizenship (for more than 2 years).
I am also a combo filer. I-751 12/31/2018 and N 400 on 12/20/2019
Still waiting....

Hey guys,
I am also from Washington, specifically on the Eastside. I am following this thread. I filed for N-400 while I-751 is still pending.
Here is my info:
I-751:
Package received by USCIS on 12/31/2018.
Received my 18 months extension letter on 01/24/2019.
Received biometrics appointment letter on 4/30/2019
Case status updated to fingerprint review completed on 05/01/2019.
I have not heard anything since.
N400:
Filed online on 12/20/2019
Received NOA1 on 12/21/2019
Biometrics appointment letter on 12/28/2019
Completed a early walk-in for biometrics appointment on 01/02/2020
Case status updated to "your case is being actively reviewed" on 01/02/2020
My online estimated case completion is 13 months--02/2021
My online estimated wait time is 13 months
Questions:
How accurate is the estimated case completion time?
Will my interview likely happen in Yakima, WA(I live on the eastside)?
Does Yakima offer same day interview?
Thanks guys!!

I have a question. My biometric appointment is in Jan 9th, but i still haven’t received any letter yet. So, can i print the letter from document tab and bring it there, or i have to request another mail from uscis?
I just printed the letter from the document tab and took it to the ASC. No question asked. I think what they need is the the barcode and QR code on the letter. After I did an early walk in, my case status was updated to "your case is being actively reviewed by USCIS.
-
Just an update:
my biometrics appointment is 1/17/2020. I did a walk in today for biometrics. No questions asked. They just did my biometrics today. Several hours later, my case status updated to case is being actively reviewed by USCIS. Estimated case completion time is 13 months. Seattle field office.

Hey guys, I have a question. I applied for N400 on 12/21. Today, I just got an email and text message that Biometrics appointment was scheduled, which is shown on case status check(the old website). However, nothing has changed on MyUSCIS account and the biometrics letter is not showing up in the document tab. Do you guys know if the biometrics letter will show up on myUSCIS account? How long did it take to show up online?

I don’t known what is going on with my case . On Aug my status on their web change from received my doc to my finger print where adding to my case and since then nothing has been change . It’s some of you have similar experience?

I am also trying to find out if the N-400 form online that I've been working on prior to Dec. 16 automatically updated on Dec. 16 or later. Last night when I logged on all of my information I typed in or downloaded was still on the form. However, I can't tell if it's the new form or the old form. Is there a way to know if it has updated?
I started working on my application on the 17th. I just completed the application. When I reviewed the downloaded application, the expiration date is still 03/31/2019. Is yours the same?

nope, I have not received any updates since then. Sigh....I hope that all the in-person interviews are canceled, they can really work on our I-751. It's been over 15 months now....
