It looks like he won't be paying his taxes at all... I am very worried. I know that this isn't a forum for personal issues, but by him refusing to file taxes, it makes me incredibly doubtful that I can get my K1 visa. In turn this is damaging our relationship. 
Does anyone know of any stories of how just having a friend as a co-sponsor has worked to earn a K1 visa?
Can I contact the London Embassy to ask them their requirements?  

This may come across as a crazy question, but I'm going to ask it anyway.
If there are people who don't want us to marry, is there anything that they can do to cause problems with or prevent me from getting my visa? For example I see there is a place to leave anonymous tips on the USCIS website. 

I'll be going to the London embassy. My fiancee has never files taxes in his life.

My fiancee recieved our NOA1 in the post today. I don't know if we have to verify our details anywhere or do anything else at this point. 

Our lawyer sent our documents to the USCIS on 20th December 2018. Looking forward to getting the first notification!
