Now a days you can't depend on what financials they'll ask for so you have to have them all. Some CO's in the same embassy will ask for something entirely different from another CO. So play it safe and bring everything required for the financials is my recommendation.

@Greenbaum In my case i134 had his dad's earnings not his, he was the sponsor at the time we submitted i129f. Nothing of my fiance's earnings was submitted, tax return was also dad's

I took all these with me to my interview :

1. Affidavit of support : 134

2. Three years tax return

3. 2 months payslips of his current job and previous job

4. His job offer letter

Take three years, we submitted two years tax return originally, he checked only that, but I took the 2018 latest one too, 2016, 2017, 2018, take payslips of last two months 

Submit any document only if the officer asks, they are not asking for additional documents , not much in our cases, @K@S, no additional proof of relationship or coversations, or screenshots or call logs were asked, though both of us took pages and pages

In my case we submitted affidavit 134 and tax return with the original i129f petition, they just checked that, he didn't ask for my fiance's current tax return or his job offer letter or pay slips or any other documents which I took, never heard of anyone taking bank statements, they would want to check how much you earn, so take w2, tax return, pay slips of last three months and job offer letter if you have ( Consulate officer asked me how much my fiance earns but didn't ask to submit proof but I had proof).

The approval slip states that we have to pay a fee, I have checked on UStraveldocs website that it does not apply to K visas, do you have any information?

He had to wait cause he got a stapler 😋 otherwise  it wouldn't have taken so long for his interview, I gave the interview in English, no translator

I brought DS160, it was not the stamped one, they took the unstamped one, they did ask the guy and the girl in front of me for NVC call letter

@ujones you should be well aware of what was submitted in the original petition, CO did not ask for any additional proof of relationship like screenshots or call logs or anything, not one single document not even the tax returns , his specific questions were based on what's written in original petition

@ujones when you go for interview, indian officers do documentation check they arrange the papers in this order, appointment letter, NVC call letter which comes in packet 4, medical envelope,, PCCriginal birth certificate and copy, they asked the applicants to show NVC call letter

Yes yes I will let you know how he grilled me exactly on these parameters and they know who exactly you are and your culture and your religion as well, they ask specific questions but again it depends on how the relationship between you and your fiance is

@ujones I met @K@S before and after my interview , he was still waiting for his turn, all prayers for him

I will write a detailed review when I land in my city, yes the CO grills, he tries to confuse you, visibly shows that he has doubts

That sounds doable but their (esp the Mumbai CO pattern right now) intention is to check if the relationship is genuine and if the  couple is serious about getting married in USA ( which is what everyone mentioned in the Letter of intent)  , "wedding plans" seem important so the CO would want to see if you have planned , if you have receipts, booking hall etc additional proof, this is just my opinion @ujones

@ujones  @K1journey_16 Thanks for your suggestions. Rapidvisa had told us to only send photos with the original petition & bring chats to at the Interview, though of course, I'm taking both just for the heck of it, & then it's up to the CO to see them or not. We don't really have any CONCRETE wedding plans given the nature of uncertainty of visas, though we have discussed a couple of POTENTIAL possibilities, which I would mention. After getting the visa, our first goal would be to get legally married as soon as I enter the US, & then, we would make concrete plans about a wedding, with guests & everything else, 6 months or so after that.
