I think I just mean that it would bring more of an understanding of the immigration situation in the US for all. Times are definitely strange in the US and I know that educating ppl may bring understanding and that can only be a good thing.

True, I would said educate people worldwide because this problem is not in the USA only. Immigration laws are almost the same everywhere in Europe and USA. More people should be educated and be aware of the stress immigrants are under going.

Agreed. In my town, I cant even speak the word "immigrant" without it being considered a swear word I sharted.

High schools need to offer immigration education classes. Only upon passing those could one apply for government jobs (related to immigration or not) or those in the media.

Good point. However, until you get into the immigrant situation you can't understand. I am pretty much sure most of us used to be clueless about the stress immigrant go through.

Not for EAD and AP. Everyone is processed at the same service centre. (As posted, NBC, 4 to 6 months currently).

Your GC is a different story though. THAT is processed at your local field office and yes, some are fast and some are slow.

The Combo Card and GC are two seperate processes. As a November filer there is next to no chance you would have received your EAD/AP already but if your LFO is fast a fast one, you may have gotten your GC first.

That is much clear. Thank you

Pretty sure everyone is an MSC filer - the speed of the case completion depends on your local field office though. :)

Good luck on your interview. My PD is dec 13 2018, but I still haven't received anything from my local office in Wichita KS. Not even my EAD. Sad thing is I can't do anything at all not even take Driver license to move around. I am happy for you.

    Hi 😀

Nope your ok we’re all here to help each other, just like you I was concerned for my case after not receiving anything after so many days of them getting my packet. All I can say is call them and explain your checking on any update for your case they will ask couple questions and then after that hopefully they can help. After calling USCIS 3 times I finally got some help but I hope you receive your Receipt letter very soon.

Thank you. I will call them tomorrow to inquire more about our case

Honestly I was lucky that day because  I called before and a representative just told me to wait 😑.

The day I called I got this nice lady I told her I sent off my packet since November 26 and I’m just concerned because I haven’t  receive any Receipt letter and I just want to make sure everything is ok...she ask for my name, date of birth etc and she then told me to get a pen and paper and she gave me the Receipt Number and the day they sent out my letter so all she said was if December 30th comes and I  still don’t receive it give them a call back.

Thank God it Finally Arrived  in the mail today 🙏🏽. I would say call and ask questions even if they said to wait you never know someone will eventually help you 😊

    Hello friend

I am sorry to bother you. We also send our application to the Chicago lockbox from Kansas on November 28th exactly two weeks from today. We still have not received a notification from USCIS. Have you received a notification? What should we do?

How did you go about calling USCIS for the NOA1? We filed on the 28th of November and we didn’t receive anything yet. We signed up for electronic communications as well.

Did you need to give them any specific information when you called?
