To be honest with you, I don't remember, but, it was easy- just follow the instructions on the phone and you will figure it out.

751HK- best way to do it option 2... say you don’t have your receipt number and all and keep saying it till they transfer it to an actual person ... following instruction will get you just to automative system.

    hope this helps!

If your extension expire within 30 days , you will get I-551 stamp.  Not sure, if you take an Inforpass and ask IO that I would like to surrender my expire green card for I-551 stamp, not sure whether you will get I-551 stamp.  The big issue is to get an infopass.

Jesus. Can’t win... back to waiting... I am hopeful that I will get ny card before or by feb. good luck to all of you guys!

Your choice. Boils down to an airline check-in agent or an exit immigration officer's familiarity with the docs. Unless you already purchased the ticket, one option to avoid the transit hassle is by choosing Air India that flies direct between IAD and DEL.

Not everyone gets issued the i551 stamp; no guarantees USCIS would issue one if in possession of a expired gc + valid extn letter combo.

Mmm something to think about. Thank you! 🙏

I had my official 12 month extension. Guy at the emirates counter was young and very courteous. He told me that they are fined for boarding a person who does not have valid visa to USA on a flight US bound.

Transit visa requirements are different while travelling on Indian Passport. Europe does not provide a long term visa for visitors either. Painful to transit or travel thru EU for me.

So leaving the letters on the side ... do you suggest me getting the stamp ? Because my route is also from Delhi to dc via Dubai

I recently got back from india. Had to wait for 10 minutes while they took my letter and expired GC somewhere. I was freaking out wondering if the guy was going to lose my paperwork. Not a good feeling. Anyways got cleared and boarding pass was provided after that. Not sure what did they check but it took time for sure.

Oh god that’s scary... I’m planning to go in March but really hoping I get the approval letter soon. Did you travel with your 18 month extension ? I am a bit worried...  im glad you were cleared and hope you had good trip.

Anyone has any Idea about EAC180270... Said that was received at my local office... mine was sent to VSC

Oh the local office business... if you are a EAC filer then you initially sent it to VSC... receiving it at local office and no notice of transfer or if you call the automatic service number if they don’t state where it is ... most prob it is still with VSC... you filled on the 27th? My noa date ...October 6th. Just waiting .....

I am EAC18061XXXXX, Nov 27 filler.  I noticed they approved EAC1806100103 and EAC1086100115, Jan 3 and one RFE EAC1806100159.  Not sure why they did not start approving from EAC1806100001, why so random?

They are not going in order it seems... have you noticed how whenever they approve a case the i751 goes away from case tracker. It weird ... all three cases before mine were approved. And I’m still at local office. Im a EAC1800600###

i don’t even know what the order is anymore...😳😏

Daazii- I am also following cases and notice the same.  They are  randomly approving cases, not sure why?  May be each office gets 5-10 cases and it is up to the officer to approve them and each office might be getting  cases randomly.

If true... very unfortunate. Provided everything  that was required and still waiting as this Jan 4th - will mark 15 months... have not applied for N400... was waiting to get the card first now feels like a mistake ... ighhh... hope you had a good holiday!

If you filed at VSC and you got the local office update and nothing else (no transfer to TX, NE or MO), your case is still in Vermont. All you can do is wait.

Hey, FruitNut.... yes, I never got a notice of any transfer ..called the USCIS number and even the auto message said.your case was transferred... but to where that was never mentioned... and yes just waiting ....thanks for your response!
