Same here but when I tracked the two receipt numbers, I realized the one is for advance parole and the other for work permit.

I recently sent my AOS packet and got a text msg from USCIS with details of receipt numbers for work authorization and advance parole but didn't get for I-485 ( APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS).   Please, is this normal?

I think the embassy is very busy now  most probable because of student visa applications. Schools resumes in September and the embassy gets tones of applications this period. They'll open interview slots soon so be on the look out by constantly checking the web page. Good luck!

Hello everyone, I had my k1 visa interview on the 21st  of June and I just tracked my case and  got an "Administrative Processing" response. Please, is this normal? Did anyone experience same?

How many months bank statements do we need? My banker gave me my bank statements for the last year and I must say it is a whole lotta papers I am not sure the consulate will need all that. So back to my question, do I just need statement for 3months, current balance and date the account was open?

What interview are you talking about ? cos for I-129F, you need your sponsor's 2018 tax return, most recent pay stub for like 3 months  and W2. I am not 100% sure if applicants are requested to submit financial documents  for I-129F interviews.

I 129f applications can only be processed at the Lagos branch of the US embassy. Irrespective of the embassy you select, you application will be routed to the Lagos embassy.

You probably have the bar code for a previous visa application.

You should call the customer care number and request that they rectify and use the DS Confirmation number you have for your K1 application.

I don't think the bar code from your DS-160 confirmation must match with the appointment confirmation code.  I booked my appointment for June and the codes are different. I may be wrong though, so please guys I need clarification. Thanks !

We sent in pictures with handwritten dates again as well as 2 letters from friends stating they knew about our meeting etc.  Our RFE specifically asked for photos with handwritten dates and letters.  

I sent one  picture with hand written dates and location at the reverse side. I also sent flight itinerary as I couldn't find  my boarding pass anymore. As for stamps on international passport, mine wasn't stamped cos I  traveled with my CAC( Common Access Card- US Army)

I put my paperwork in there, then put that in a priority envelope I found at the post office that had a full front clear window, so there was no writing out addresses or anything and I was able to send it priority and get the tracking number. got there in two days.
