Hi All,
My fiancee's interview is tomorrow and we are SO nervous. Can anyone share what their personal interview experience was like? We are thoroughly prepared and have a ton of documentation but I'm just curious to know what the overall vibe was like during the interview. What reasons would they have to deny the visa? Will she know right then and there at the end of the interview if it has been approved or not? Thanks in advance!
@MikeyBee My fiancee had her interview on Monday.
Make sure she has all the documents required.
Tell her to be ready for a long wait. We waited 3 hours for the interview.
Once inside, they will first call her to present some documents, mostly originals.
I was with her, but the consul didn't let me in. The interview itself was less than 10 minutes long and the consul ask her some general questions.
He will tell her right there if the visa is approved.

Does anyone knows if they send a Packet 4?
Our interview is next Monday and we sent an email asking if they received Packet 3 but we have no answer yet.
Thanks.

@JonnatYeah its impossible to reach someone by phone. Do you know if the documents are at the embassy already?
We already set the medical exam and interview for January 21st and 27th. and we need to take the P3 to the embassy this week.
This process is really stressful and I'm losing my mind.
Do not hesitate to send me a message if you need help.

@WickedWorld Hi guys, how long did it take for your fiance to be notified by the Embassy in Bs As, and to receive packet 3?
Thanks!
They contact me by email 3 weeks after I sent them an inquiry about the case. Like 3 weeks after that, they sent the P3 instructions by regular mail.
So it was something like 6 weeks for them to mail the instructions. My NOA2 expired on January 11th 2020. and I received the instructions around December 13th.(not counting the email)
All my appointments are past the expiration date so we are sweating bullets. Hopefully is not a big deal.

Yes, also if you have previous passports take them with you to the interview. Same thing if petitioner has old passports, take a copy of them as well as the petitioner current passport
Ok, I was a little confused because in the steps of the first page, they sent Packet 3 first and then do the medical. But you need the passport at the doctor's appointment.
My fiancee has the medical on the 21st and the interview on the 27th. So I guess I need to sent P3 right after that. Don't know if that's enough time for them to review the P3.

Quick question. Do I need to put the passport and a copy of the bio page inside P3 that gets delivered at the embassy?
Thanks

Hi,
I have my case with READY status, last update was Oct. 30th. I emailed the embassy for instructions on Nov. 4th but I had no answer yet. What should I do?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I have a quick question. My case is in route to the embassy, and I got an email with case number and a link with instructions. I was reading said instructions and in one sections says " Documents in foreign languages, other than the language of the country in which the application takes place, should be translated. "
What does this mean? Do I need to translate birth certificates, police certificates etc. from spanish?
Thanks.

Hi,
Me and my fiancee are waiting for our case to get to the NVC after getting our NOA2, and I have some questions about the documentation we need.
I've been living in Argentina for the last couple of years and we plan to use a co-sponsor for her visa since I'm not working in the U.S.
Do I need to fill forms I-134 and I-184?
What supporting documents do I need to ask the joint sponsor to have ready?
Thanks.

Hi Everyone!!!
We got our NOA2 on September 13th. Should we wait another week or two before contacting the NVC for a case number?
Thanks

Hi, we sent our package on 05-13-2019 (from Argentina) it was received at the lockbox on 06-03-2019 and the date of the notice is 06-06-2019.
The notice letter was received at the mailing address in the US on 11-06-2019 but I have no notice on my email or phone ( I do have a US #)
Any ideas why I didn't get the email or text?
I filled the form G-1145

You can use the passport as proof
Should I leave the section asking for certificate number, date and place blank?

Hi,
I am a U.S. citizen through naturalization. I'm filling the I-129F form for my fiancee and on the section "Your Citizenship information" asks for the Certificate number, date and place of issuance. I came to realize, I misplaced or lost my certificate and never made a copy or took a photo of it. Requesting a copy takes about a year so I'm looking to other options,
I do have my U.S. passport and I'm living abroad as of right now.
Has anyone filed out the form without that information?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hey Guys! My fiancee just made it to the U.S. last week on a K1 visa. We were trying to do the SSN, but all offices are closed here in NJ.
Does anyone knows if the offices are open in NY?
