This is the most complicated forum in correcting mistakes I have ever been on.. and trust me I have made a few.... sorry pushbrk for mistake on your username....
I think I will start a new thread.... What does your user name mean???? lol Kinda like the custom plates on a car.... shishhhhhhhhhh Anyway... sorry pushbrk!!!
OK let me inject another thought here.... I have been known for not reading the guidelines compleatly as bushbark knows well. What if there is something wrong with the paperwork? We file both at same time... Do we loose the money we send also??? AND by the way... HOW much is the cost of the I-129F now if we filed before the July deadline??????????????I would take a red pen and write "Consular Processing Please" near that spot but also bold it perhaps in red in the cover letter, then put a sticky note on the face of the petition again asking for Consular Service. That section asks for the name of the Consulate whether you file an I-129F or not. I think it needs something more clear in this case.
Push, I think that you have made me as prepared as I am ever going to get, egarding these petitions. KUDOS!
My only issue now is the 50-50 gamble of which processing center to use, CSC or VSC. Based on a couple prior posts I read I see that TSC petitions have been rerouted through CSC so that is I which way I am going. Unfortunately I have also seen some post stating that CSC has been having problems, ie computer glitch, late notifications, etc.
Filing instructions for your State are in a link in side the direct filing press release. You do not get to choose which service center processes your petitions. If you send it to the wrong one it will be delayed while they transfer it.

Good point.
Do you see any value in including the following info along with the I-129F? (this info was included part of my I-130)
I. Documents showing co-mingling of financial resources
II. Three affidavits sworn to and affirmed by third parties
III. Photocopies of the petitioner’s and beneficiary’s relevant passport pages
IV. Additional proof of our ongoing relationship (Summary our last trips, bridal set receipt, ...)
This isn't required or asked for with the I-129F. Did you send some of the above with your I-130? I guess if I had it, I would show the co-mingling of financial resources.
OK now I am really confused about the proof of relationship... Do we or do we not need all this I.-IV. ? I need to know before my wife sends the g-325a forms..... HELP!!!!!

I bought the book by IIona Bray "Fiance and Marriage Visas" and it says as soon as you get your first notice of action (I-797C) to file your I-129F paperwork. I have found that it is so important to read and read and read the instructions. I just came back from getting married in Argentina and had to send the g-325a paperwork back to my wife to fill out before I can send our I-130 paperwork in... shishhhhhhhh I may be wrong about having to wait till you get the notice but I really doubt it. Oh also... Don't forget to get all 8 of the g-325a signed. Send the other set with the I-130 paperwork. (BOTH OF YOUR SETS) Don't photocopy the originals and take a chance. Any other suggestions anyone---> Please!!! We need all the help we can get!!! John and Nora
PS Does anyone do the paperwork in the pastel colors anymore?????
-
I was thinking of another way of speeding things up is all. Lord knows we have to wait enough as it is.... Heck.. may be a market here for this kind of documentation. It's up for grabs!!! I don't have a problem with helping someone in any way to help speed up the process... I know our wait is just starting. Thanks again for the help.... John and Nora

Hi all, I was just wondering if there is a source that has all the K-1,K-3, etc etc forms in spanish? If so can you link me up??? PreThanks.. John and Nora

I was married in Argentina just last week. We had to have two witnesses sing the certificate if marrage. I take it these two would work for this situation? Now I just need to send them the affidavit in spanish and english and have them sign both? Any ideas if this is right? PreThanks again, John and Nora

Thanks all...

Hi all, I am filling out the I-130 form and does anyone know if they require a physical address or can you put the PO Box address? In Alaska it is common to use the PO Box for physical address. Even our drivers license uses the PO Box addy... I searched but could not find the answer to this one anywhere here! PreThanks, John and Nora

Thanks for the replies
There really isn't much that she could present as ties to Argentina. She has sold her house and really doesn't need a job as I am supporting her needs. I was hoping that there would be some way (as many others do also) she could come here to ease the pains of separation.
Thanks again... John

Hi all, I am headed to Argentina to marry on the 28th of April and we have the blessings of the church to marry on the 12th of May...
My questions:
Can my wife come here on a visitors visa as long as she has a round trip ticket?
and
What is the Duration of Stay option?
Thanks for all the help

I am sorry. What does this mean? "Original text removed per the VJ TOS."
I do not know what that means but ai can tell you about infopass... don't take the advice of the receptionist that says "pick a number" I had an appointment via infopass and decided to stop in early the day before because it is a 6.5 hour drive from Fairbanks to Anchorage just to make sure I was at the right place. The lady that guides you to the right person basically told me that I didn't need a apostille seal and I could go to a local bank and get a notary seal... The rest is history!!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG
Now I know much more about apostille seals.. and they don't bark but they got lots of bite--->

03/12/07 - Decided not to file I-129F for K-3 visa. Going CR-1 route instead.
Just wondering why you decided to go with CR-1? Did you know it might be faster? Thanks, John and Nora
-
Well, a few things happening... I got all the documentation I needed for the marriage to take place... but! I was told by the Immigration department in Anchorage that I only needed notary seals from a bank.. so I went all the way back to Fairbanks and done just that... With divorce/marriage certs and all the other documents ($150.00+) I send to Argentina FedX for $77..... Now it is comming back to me with need of apostille on ever document. Thanks to Anchorage (and me for being trusting) the wedding with it's deposits of $2000 are going to be lost.. No wedding on the 28 April now....
Sad I am to have this happen but happy cause I am still gonna to see my love! Come hell or high paperwork!!!
Hang in there, true love is worth every second we wait....
