  1. This is highly interesting, can I read more details anywhere ? Thank you for posting this.

You know... If it wasn't for one person here on this forum... ie pushbrk I would have helped a lot more people.... But at this point in my immigration experence I will only answer personal e-mails and not post on this forum... IF you want help..IM me.. Thanks!!! Pushbrk get a life and stop hurting all that need help...

  2. My friend and his fiancee are here and married now. He also had the NOID thing on our second filing. I put in a several page response and to my surprise the petition was approved even with acusations of falsifing paperwork, lying and forging documents..... It just happened that the this Mr. Turner at the The Consular Section U.S. Embassy in Vientiane, Laos was canned and as I understand had been blackmailing and stealing from the applicants by denial of applications and who will ever know what else.

I am wondering if there is any reprisal against this person that caused so much heart break and no doubt cost from refiling paperwork and as everyone knows that isn't a cheap process. Just a thought!!!!

  3. Hi all, We got home the 27th of June... I was really surprised at the lack of problems with the point of entry... I signed a few autographs and away we went... The worst was Anchorage, trying to get a rental to drive all our luggage and the pet to Fairbanks. There was only one choice and that was a Plymoth Grand Caravan for $550 for a 6 hour drive... We left the airport about 7:30pm and took our time because the sun doesn't set at this time of year. Nora got to see the midnight sunset/sunrise and all the sights between Anchorage and Fairbanks... Anyway, we are home and now on the the next stage, "adjustment of status"... Thanks again to all our "Friends" here... John and Nora
  4. For all my Argentine friends, we recieved the visa today Friday 13th. The interview was a breeze but the waiting was horrible, almost two hours and they lost the attachment to the last paperwork but that was ok. We just put the infomation in the blank box.....

The interview was about 10 questions and mabey 20 mins.... very straight forward and easy. The choice of spanish or english helped my wife very much even thought her english I think is very good. But she was more relaxed speaking spanish.

I want to put my timeline back on VJ but I am still very dissapointed with one of the members so if you want to know the whole timeline please email us at johndesofi at hotmail.

Thanks again for the help from the friendly members of VJ.

  6. I waited till I recieved my NOA2 to send my I-129F in and it was returned to me saying:

"Our records indicate that your I-130 is no longer pending. The I-129F (K3) petition for your spouse can only be accepted by the Service Center if the underlying I-130 petition is currently pending"

There are no instructions on what to do or anything.... What now??????

  7. Hi christinejohn, I know how you feel. I have searched also this answer. Before 30 july the K3 was faster.... and I believe today it is faster. Some say IR-1/Cr-1 is mabey less expensive in $ but really is it less expensive in time apart....... naaaaa Money is not the answer. I believe that the K3 is best even if it cost for now more... but I desire to be with my wife much more than to be without money.... Life is to short... I hope this helps a little... Merry Christmas

  8. If you make copies, make a copy of pages 1 through 4. The information is slightly different at the bottom of each page and each G325A must contain an original signature.

Wait a min!!! I read that only the first page needs signature... My wife signed and dated all 4 pages but I only signed the first page... We didn't get the package kicked back but then again I used ACCO fasteners (or what ever they are called) mabey they felt sorry for me.... shishhhh I even did the second package in ACCO... hmmmmm mabey an RFE is comming for sure this time.... OMG

On a different note: Why arent't there post guides for K visas??? At least there is nothing after you file the I-129/I-130 in the "Guides" section for the K-3.... Just a thought Ewok!!!!

  9. If you can't show enough income is it ok to put assets in place? The reason I say this is because I have taken over a property that my home also occupies. There are 7 rentals of which 2 other than mine are rented. I quit my job in Sept. and I have been using a part of my 401k to keep building the other rentals and also maintain my rent and utilities. I have no other proof of income other than the rental monies from the other two rentals and that doesn't make up the payment to the owner carry contract so I suppliment the payment with my rent fee. With one more rental comming on line within a few weeks or so that will give me enough income where I don't have to add my rental fee to the payment.

Now, what do I show as income if the income is not really income but payment to an owner carry contract? Do I add the assets which I guess would be the contract for $xxx, xxx.xx plus my other personal assets!! Help  I need to file my finiancial report soon but also I have no idea which one to file I-824 or????

Income is income. Since you'll also be providing tax returns, it would look pretty strange to claim income less than what is shown on the returns. In the occupation related space, you could put something like "Engineer and landlord".

There is no need to list assets, if the income alone is sufficient. He can just skip all those questions, per the form's instructions.

  10. Personally... I am setting in Alaska and the current temp is -40F... I reallllllllly hope there is some truth to this normal ecoBS myself... but I doubt it... I remember in the 70s there was global cooling  lol Just goes to show the whackos really don't know their head from a BS hole in the ground... mabey they need to wake up and smell the hmmm I think ya got the idea  Bring on the global warming... I could use about 100 extra degrees right now.... that would put it right at +60F ok mabey 110F extra and bring it to 70F :thumbs::thumbs:
  11. hmmm My folder must have passed inspection and it was all according to ACCO!!! Shishhhh I hope nuttin changed... I just sent my I-129F off this week!!!! I can't imagine something so organized and file friendly would be rejected.... I agree with jasman0717!!! Other wise I am gonna be one POed perfectionist  AND mabey a new Argentine citizen... :PI just can't see how a worker is allowed in the US faster than a married couple..... hmmmmm Mabey we should band together and start a new lobby group!!! Mabey suggest to John Walsh that the workers comming to the US are comming just to make money.... naaaaa He would take it wrong...
  12. You do need the I-134 for the K-3 interview process; however you only need to meet 100% of the poverty guidelines for the I-134 affidavit of support. You will not need to meet the 125% until its time for the AOS and you will at that time complete the I-864.

OK I have a question, but first my story. I was forced into quiting my job last September. As a result I have no pay stubs or evidence of income for the last 3 months, only the money I got from my 401k to hold me over till the first of the year. Although, I have spent about $15000 in upgrades and improvements to the property. I am in the process of doing a owner finiance thing and in the final stages of the contract negotiations for the property.

We have decided to file the I-129F and get this finished because really my wife doesn't need to work and I need her here with me as she also needs me.

Do I need to fill out the I-134 OR the I-864 and do I send this information with the I-129F paperwork and What do I put as income???

OK three questions.. Pre-thanks again, John and Nora

  13. Congrats also to your advance  yahoooooo WE 2!!!! OMG Soon my loving and beautiful wife will be here with me.... hmmmm Could be interesting comming from temperatures in the 80s and 90s to -30 or -40 below zero...... I was thinking today what the difference between +80F to -40 below zero-----> OMG!! 120 degrees difference!!!

Just a thought about sub zero temps.... -40F is actually 72 degrees below freezing!!! I like to say it is -40 and not think about the actual temperatures.

Anyway I rambled on enough.. Congrats again!!!:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

  15. hmmmm Mabey I will put my comment about "I haven't even got a touch or we haven't got our NOA2 yet" Mabey this post is the lucky post  Yep it is getting harder every day to keep above the water line. Today my wife and I had our first fallin out but it isn't nuttin to cry over but it does make it a little harder to go thru the day. I know we are the only ones that go thru this depressing times waiting so that makes it a little better. I try to make Sunday family day and spend it with her all day. We have been practicing english with Skype and she also goes to Rita two days a week, the gym 3 and 4 days a week. I try to get her to stay busy as possible to keep the depession down. I have been building cabins since I quit my job at the pit. Not much time during the week to chat but only three times a day.. She buzzes me in the morning at 5am to wake me and we chat for a little bit. I come home for lunch and we exchange a few kisses msn style and chat. In the evening I am so beat I can hardly eat so we don't chat long. It gets hard for her I know and like I say I try to keep her busy. I have been watching the time lines and it does look like we are close but not many K3 filers in Argentina so I just go by K1 etc time lines. Anyway, sorry for crying on who ever reads this shoulder but sometime ya gotta vent ya know.... Thanks all, John and Nora

  16. Hi all, Just a quick question about the difference in time lines.... How much is there between the K3 and IR1 / CR1 visas?? OK mabey one more added question: What was the deciding factor of one or the other? Thanks

With the CR-1 my wife gets a green card and ss number shortly after she enters the U.S. And it turns with the new fee schedule, it saves money since the AOS on the K visas now costs $1010 and the CR-1 application to remove conditions is $545.

OMG But the waiting!!! Is it worth the money saved???
