    What the actual F***? A year? THAT'S BASICALLY A CR-1!

I'm so sorry you're going through this utter Bull! Reading all your posts I can't even imagine the hell you're going through, it terrifies me to have the same fate. (We're 263 days now (cali) with no RFE's, no criminal record and no response from uscis either). As much as the law-suit seems like an option, I'm praying that you get an answer soon. I just DON'T UNDERSTAND why some are done within 7 months and some are dragged out?! WHY IS THERE NO SYSTEM!? WHY IS IT SO HARD TO PRIORITIZE LONG AWAITED CASES FIRST!?

Those that have recieved RFE's don't know how lucky they are...

Did they not respond to your case inquiry??? We are on 258 days with RFE, sent everything and now just waiting.

  2. I've been searching for an answer to this question too! I'm a dual national Iranian-British and have been wondering if the travel ban will affect K-1 visa for me. So far, there has been no indication that they won't give me a K-1 visa. My case has been taking longer than most people, I filed in March. Only recently we got RFE but that was for something irrelevant to my nationality. Fingers crossed, the travel ban won't apply to either of us.

theres really nothing we can do but wait and be patient..only government knows about the process..if you'll have an interview appointment that day also you will find out if you are approved or denied or you need to bring more documents..so its really best to collect the exact documents and requirements. just like i said if you do i 129f form right and submit the required documents the next step will be smoothly fine, just be patient.😊 and during the consulate interview give your honest and romantic relationship answers that seems what they need to know "the truth" good luck

No, no, I don't have an interview yet. My fiancé got a letter saying our case is being adjudicated and that we'll receive a response within 45 days. Hope it's not THAT long and arrives quicker. Been waiting 246 days already. There is no interview yet, they have to approve or deny first then it's the medical and interview only if we are approved. I just wanted to see if anyone has been through it and knows anything about this process.

There was actually a q and a here by a former uscis employee. https://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a/

I read it and it didn't really answer my questions. It wasn't very specific. Thanks though.

  4. Hey guys, we've been waiting for NOA2 for the last 246 days - it's crazy! We've sent case inquiry and just recently gotten a reply saying our case is now in the process of being adjudicated and that we will receive a notice of action within 45 days.... so it's just the final waiting game... hopefully. Our case has already taken way too long though compared to all these other people and I can't believe May filers are being approved and I filed in March and still waiting. Really unfair. Don't know how so many people don't have issues with their applications and then it comes to us and it doesn't go smoothly. UGh.
