@akoko-01 the fourth one is form I-130 and 130A. I don’t think everyone sends that, depending on your situation.

Got my biometrics appointment today. It will be next week. Hope everyone got theirs too!

@Derlon I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think you get a notification for that. I sent  that also and I only got 4 text and hard copy notification. One for  form I-130, I-485,I-765 and I-131

@Andynov6yeah I’ll do an update as soon as I get it in the mail. It looks like we got our notice in the mail almost the same time. So if I happen to get it ahead of you, most likely you’ll get yours the next day

@Andynov6 I didn’t get the letter yet for the biometrics appointment. It just says that it’s coming.

I sent mine Nov 6. I got a text notification on Nov 18 and they said if I don’t get a hard copy by Dec 9 to call them.

@rogerinho I sent my package Nov. 6. I took longer for it to get to Chicago even though I sent it priority mail. Anyway it got delivered Nov 12. The check got cashed Nov 16. And tonight I got a text giving me my case number and all.

But when you applied for a K1 didn’t you know its for a fiancée visa? Forget the Nikah, but even after doing the Nikah why would you decide to get married while your paper are being processed?

Okay let me get this straight. You guys filled the K1 and then did the Nikah, and then got married. And then you had the interview?

Randyandyuni but what if my husband and I didn’t have previous marriages? It seems like they are asking number of marriage. I maybe just confuse hehehe. I tried calling the San Francisco consulate last October 31 and it’s only 2pm and no one was answering the phone already. 

Randyandyuni. I’m also gonna have to do report of marriage. So that’s all I need? How about this part, □ One (1) original or certified true copy and five (5) copies of the Marriage Certificate or Contract (original will be returned) showing the number of marriages contracted by the parties and issued by the Office of the Vital Records or any other appropriate office of the State where the marriage took place. If the number of contracted marriages do not show, one certified copy and two regular copies of the marriage license showing the number of marriage must be additionally submitted.

what about this showing the number of marriages contracted? 

Yeah, it’s just frustrating. I hope they didn’t lose mine. 

Has anybody here had issues with sending thier forms thru USPS? I sent my forms to the Chicago Lockbox Tuesday Nov 6. I mailed it priority mail with certified mail. It’s supposed to arrive Nov 8.  I checked the tracking today and it says the my package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. That it is currently in transit to the next facility. I mean it doesn’t even say if it made it  to Chicago or some state near Chicago. I double check the USCIS address twice and I put exactly that one they have on the website.

I’m not 100% sure but I think you only need one because they do ask you how many family members you are petitioning.

Is that all she needs to file? Or does she need to file I-130 also?

On the top right side does it say expires 05/31/2020? If so, then that’s the new form

Yes the red number is the visa number. As far as I know.

21.b They asked for passport number of my most recent issued passport.  I have a new passport that I renewed 3 years go. So I’m guessing that’s what I’ll put in it.

21.c Travel document number. I don’t have any.

21.e expiration date of passport. So are they asking about my current passport? Because the passport where my I-94 is attached expired a long time ago. 

 

And on Form I-485 what is a derivative applicant?
