I had my interview at the Federal Plaza (730am slot!). My interview took ~15 mins. I wasn't approved on the spot. My case officer, a sweet lady, asked me if there was a change to the application. I provided updates to my travel history after the application was submitted. I had noted them the night before incase they ask about it. She also asked me 2018 tax returns which I also carried with me (and were submitted with the application because I hadn't done my taxes by then). 
I wasn't approved on the spot. I was told that my application requires a review but she has all the information she needs. 
An hour later, I saw a change to my application that it is approved... the next change followed a minute later with the oath ceremony to be scheduled soon. Such a relief.. 

So, listen to this.
I just got another interview notice for January 8th, because there is a missing signature from my application and I have to go to put the signature, so my application is complete. 😂

Yes, and when I told him that my officer said that in max 2 weeks I'll get the invitation to the oath ceremony, he played deaf, like he didn't even hear me.

I am planning on calling them today. Its exactly 4 weeks since my interview. Maybe there is a problem that has to be addressed and I'll just make their life easier by calling them and ask them what's the issue.

thank you for all your post. My journey is officially over. I had a pretty smooth interview but wasn't approved on the spot, then received an email bright and early the next morning indicating I was approved. I later received my oath ceremony date 5 days after my approval. I was sworn in yesterday morning in Brooklyn. 
 
CONGRATULATIONS to all approved friends in journey and all the best to everyone else.

Hi, everyone! I have been following this thread for a while, without being registered to this website. What I wanted to say is that tomorrow my 3 month window opens for N400 based on marriage. But my lawyer says that if I don't have the permanent green card approved yet I can't apply for naturalization. She says there is a trick something, but doesn't want to say what. I've been already waiting for this permanent gc and I was really hopping to apply for N400 as soon as possible, and now I dont know what to do, to go ahead and apply by myself or listen to my lawyer. Is there anyone that shares the same story as me? Thank you all and have a great week ahead with many approvals. Bye!
