I got text from USCIS today and I got case numbers! I checked case status online and one of the status is  " My Fingerprint Fee Was Received” and another one is "The case was Received"

Thank you! I came here on K1 visa so I didn't file I-130. I hope your matter will go smoothly.

    Thank you!😊😊😊

I called the regular line, ‭+1 (800) 375-5283‬. I had to listen to an automated message at first, but then it put me through to a live rep in less than half an hour.

What information did they ask you when you call them? I checked a bank account but still checked wasn't cashed yet. Did you call them after your fee was paid?

@Ikumimix1 just got off the phone with uscis after seeing my check was cleared on my bank acct and got the 3 receipt numbers! Check yours and good luck! ( bad luck for me my lawyer filed wrong the ead form) the other 2 were received well fine!

That's great! I'm happy for you! I checked my husband's bank account now but still nothing. What information did they ask you when you call them?

Assets can be used to make up the gap between income and 125% requirement.

Read the instructions sheet for the I864 form as it outlines how to use property and what evidence you need.

One issue with property is the potential difficulty in selling it to turn into liquid funds .. it may be valuable but selling needs a buyer at the right price,

    Thank you, Lil bear!

I’ll take a look at it.

  6. Hello everyone.

I have question about Affidavit of Support .
My fiance is a freelance and doesn't meet income requirement. We had a sponsor but the sponsor changed his mind at the last minuts.
My fiance had been looking for someone else but he couldn't find one.

So, we are looking for an another option.
We consider using his own condo as an asset but, we are not sure we can use that because he lives there right now.
I'm very confused since there are different opinions on visa expert websites.

    Here are my question.
Can we use the condo as an asset even if he still lives there?
If so, what kind of documents do we need? ( He will get his home appraised )

Is it possible to use both income and asset even though his income doesn't meet requirement?

    Thank you.
